It was a chilly Friday evening. Me and my girlfriend had a grumbling in our tummies. We wanted a healthy munch. We decided that Pita Pit was the best option. Upon arriving at the establishment, we were greeted by one of the warmest service workers we’ve ever encountered. She was nice, professional, and put a smile on my face. I wish I could say the same for the gentleman who was working alongside her. Let me explain. He asked me what toppings I wanted. I was spacing out and didn’t hear his question. My girlfriend tapped me, and I turned to the worker, ready to hear his words. I was expecting to politely repeat his question. Instead, he sarcastically gestured at the toppings without a word. That’s fine. No big deal. I told him the toppings I desired, and on we went with the process. I asked for Swiss cheese, and he smacked 3 slices down into the middle of the pita, all on top of each other, making no effort to spread them throughout the tasty treat. I said ‘actually I only want 2 slices man’, or something to that effect. It was polite and reasonable. He took a slice off, put it back into the container of fresh cheese (although it was now soaked in the juices of my wrap) and THEN sarcastically said ‘I’ll save you the 50 calories’. I said ‘that seems like a sarcastic tone of voice’, again giving him an easy opportunity to be polite, to deny his maliciousness, to apologize, to do anything. Instead, he ignored my comment. As he prepared my girlfriend’s wrap, and it was time to grab the cheese, he looked at her, rolled his eyes, and said ‘shall I save you the 50 calories as well?’ I felt embarrassed. He also forgot the sauce in my wrap, as I discovered when I bit into it later. The food was still good, and the lady working there was great. For this, I rate 4 stars. I am just a bit disappointed at this gentleman’s...
Read moreused to work for this franchise, pretty sure a regular pita gets 2 scoops of feta. Not a sprinkled little handful, looked at the worker dubiously. wraps aren't supposed to be wrapped up when they're all busted. they're supposed to be rewrapped. so, despite I'm running late I ate in store. not about to make a mess on myself, at work or in my car because of a rushed service in a store that's not even busy. I get there's prep in the back, but this should be an indicator there should be more than 2 people working at a time. these two seemed to kind of know what they're were doing but I could tell they felt uncomfortable running the store themselves.
pita pit has gone downhill these past almost 10 years. don't bother eating here, all the establishments I've been too in Sudbury have been subpar they're much better down south.
go check out bar burrito instead, customer service and quality matters to the newer establishments because they're not comfortable in giving low effort service for almost $20 a meal. support places that value their workers...
Read moreI have pointed out multiple times that your hand sanitizing pumps aren't working over the course of 3 months and still nothing has been done. Also when getting my food tonight the lid wasnt on the bowl properly.
Just a few small things you guys can improve that shows you take the safety and satisfaction of your customers seriously for when I come back.
Thanks
