No mask? No problem! But that was just the tip of the terrible dining experience iceberg

Multiple patrons walking in/out/to the washroom without a face covering. Staff did not care to even try to enforce the mandatory mask policy.

There was another couple that was seated after we ordered, yet they received their food well before we received ours. Once our food was finally brought to the table, it was room temperature/cold. "sausage patty" tasted like soap, refried beans tasted like a burnt log and home fries were ice cold in the middle. The coffee was okay.

During our meal we overheard staff talking negatively about another patron and their requests with returned food, and continued to make fun of them telling each other that if they don't like the food, don't go there and make it yourself. Noted.

Instead of Eddie's, I'd recommend going to Gloria's Restaurant which is only 2 minutes away from Eddie's. They offer a great breakfast menu, fast service, hot food and friendly staff.

Eddie’s Restaurant is an absolute gem. During a very difficult time, as our family gathered to grieve the loss of our beloved father, Eddie’s provided a cozy, comforting, and private space for us to be together. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, allowing us to share tears, laughter, and beautiful memories in peace.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of without ever intruding, their quiet kindness and respect did not go unnoticed, and it meant so much to us.

On top of that, the food was exceptional. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and consistently delicious dishes made it feel like the kind of nourishment your soul needs during hard moments. Whether you're visiting for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, there’s always something truly satisfying on the menu.

Thank you, Eddie’s, for creating a space that feels like home, especially when we needed it most.

Warm Regards, The...

Ordered Fish and chips (standard menu item at around noon - so first thing in the day) and was told 5 mins later "No fish!". Why is it on the menu but not available to purchase? Why wasn't the waitress told it's not available today??

To make matters worse, another diner seated next to us ordered the exact same item (he ordered only a min after ordered , a different waitress took his order) and he wasn't told "No fish"! He got his order fairly soon after that.

So we ordered two orders of Blue berry pancakes and one order of Onion rings. We got the first order of Blueberry pancakes fairly quickly (and they were excellent) however we had to wait over 15 mins (and the restaurant was not busy) for the second order of pancakes. The onion rings weren't ready till we were almost...

Absolutely phenomenal brunch spot! We had the pleasure of staying in Sudbury over the long weekend, and without a doubt, this is our absolute favorite place for brunch in the area. The restaurant exudes a delightful "old and charming" ambiance, complete with old engraved wooden tables and chairs that emit a comforting creak. Our waitress was exceptionally warm and welcoming, consistently sporting a radiant smile on her face. She effortlessly engaged with us, cracking jokes and addressing any inquiries we had. Now, let's talk about the food – the fish and chips they serve here are truly unparalleled in quality and taste. Don't miss this place if you are visiting Sudbury!

If I could rate this place a 0 star, I would. It is way overpriced. My family and I had dinner here today, and I was really disappointed. I ordered a chocolate milk, cheese burger, a small poutine, and a "large" Caesar salad that I shared with my dad. We got the salad first, and to say I was disappointed with the "large" salad would be an understatement. The salad was really small. We thought she brought us a small salad at first. Then, 30 minutes after we got the salad, we got our food. My brother said his eggs were so overcooked they tasted like plastic, my cheese curds were half frozen, and I noticed stuff floating in my chocolate milk. Do not go here.

A Sudbury tradition, used to go here for breakfast, in the 1980's, still the best. Today it was lunch, the fish sandwich with fries is a winner, reccomended. People need to use the patio at this time of year, it's a great idea. Excellent service since forever, food is out quickly, hot, delish! I'll be back.
