Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Greater Sudbury

I'm surprised it took me this long to actually sit down and write a review of this place considering I have way too many things to say.

I'll start with the cleanliness of the building it's always in good shape and the bathrooms have always been clean when I've been in there

The food is incredible sandwiches come in a foil lined paper package to keep in the heat however I would caution the sweating risk so if you are traveling with your food you may want to consider some ventilation to allow the steam to escape.

If you have come along for the journey this far then I have to take a moment to recognize all the staff at this location.

I can confidently say I've never had such a uplifting experience constantly when visiting a fast food chain. I feel like a welcome member of the family every time I walk in those doors.

10 of 10 I really hope that these awesome employees are accredited for their hard work and for the great image that they portray for the Popeyes family.

I don't often edit my reviews unless something has drastically changed but in this situation this location seems to always overachieve on my expectations constantly to the point where I'm receiving way more value for my money than anywhere else and I will continue to support this wonderfully charismatic location.

After visiting numerous Popeyes locations around Toronto/Ottawa when going for road trips, I was soo excited to finally get one here in Sudbury. I’ve been 4 times already and the last one was really bad… The worker at the drive thru asked if we wanted a tray (we had 3 drinks), I said no thank you (we were just going to put them in the cup holders of the car anyways). She then proceeded to hand me all 3 drinks at once and told me to grab the first one. Why not just hand out one drink at a time? I don’t have enough hands either to grab them all at once. Then, she gave us the bag of food and said “Make sure you have everything in there” in a rude/unprofessional way. It’s your job to make sure the order is in the bag before handing it out… It wasn’t very busy and there was no need for the rush. Once we got home, my nuggets were definitely re-fried as they were very dry and over cooked. The fries are never fresh, always soggy and not hot.

The service here is absolutely absurd. Tell me why I had to fight with the drive-through worker for her to give me a 5 piece combo. It took me 10 minutes to exit the drive through as she refused to give me my order, insisting a 3 piece was better for me as it’s cheaper. When clearly stated on several occasions that what I was ordering was for pick up for another person.

On a separate occasion when I had ordered through the drive through, they hadn’t prepared my food till I arrived at the window. There was no interaction with the worker after waiting for 10 minutes as I was handed my food. I had to sit in the drive through for an extra 5 minutes to try and obtain someone’s attention as they forgot all of my sauces. Even after I had gained their attention, there was still no interaction from the worker, when she then closed the window and walked away.

Very upsetting as this had happened all within a week. Please get your workers in check cause this is disgusting. If you don’t wanna work, then go home. No one needs the...
