Service was horrid, didn't listen to a single word we said and brought us not even close to what we ordered. Food was horrible, the butter chicken is better from literally any other place, and cheaper anywhere else, the prices are insane for the literal worst food I ever tasted. I would not recommend coming here ever. This would only be good as punishment food, if you think you deserve to be punished then this is exactly what you're looking for. Upset both me and my husband's stomach so much that we literally had to puke from how bad it was. I hope this review gives you the chance of a second look before going. Please never do this to yourself.

Edit: I have confirmed from outside sources of other people who have reviews this restaurant that not only are they completely comping people meals for good reviews, but they won't even own up to anything they do wrong, please save yourself and never come here. The service worse experience I've ever had at any restaurant anywhere, and I've been to some really bad places, had to go to a completely different place just to be able to stomach anything, they might say it's misinformation, but I've confirmed this is the same experience that others have had here, and they only left good reviews so they wouldn't have to pay for the food since that's the only way it's worth...

I recently dined at Restaurant Garuda, known for its South Indian cuisine, and I had a mixed but overall positive experience. The highlight was their Chicken Biryani, which I tried on a friend's recommendation.

Upon arrival, I noticed the Chicken Biryani was listed as the daily special on a chalkboard. However, when ordering, there was a bit of confusion with the waitress, possibly due to a language barrier, as she initially said it wasn't part of the daily special until I pointed it out.

I prefer milder flavors and asked if the Biryani could be made less spicy. Despite this, the dish, which took around 45 minutes to arrive, turned out to be extremely spicy. It was later clarified that it was one of the spiciest items on their menu—a crucial detail I wish had been shared with me earlier.

The waitress, realizing the oversight, was apologetic and offered yogurt to help with the spice, a gesture I appreciated. Her politeness and genuine concern were commendable.

Despite the spice level, the Biryani was flavorful, and the restaurant's ambiance was inviting. I would recommend Restaurant Garuda for its tasty food and pleasant atmosphere, but advise diners to clarify spice levels...

So I've been ordering here for years. They really need to work on their customer service. Food has been good sometimes and other times it's been okay. I had orders in the past where they missed stuff which I did not give them a hard time. A month ago, I ordered food, was told 20 minutes until ready. I show up 40 mins later and was asked to wait another 5 mins. Ended up waiting another half hour in there. So it total 55 mins over what they said. Had some issue with their debit machine when paying but payment went through. A few days later when checking my transactions I was charged twice. I called the store, spoke to the lady owner who said will get back to me the next day. Since then, I have contacted at least 4 times and each time I was told she hasn't had a chance to look into it yet or the owner will call me back. It's been over a month, still no call back, no refund, and now they won't even answer my calls. I don't typically leave reviews, let alone negative ones but this deserves one for sure. Don't take advantage of your customers and cheat them. At this point, it shouldn't just be a refund they need to way more for this kind of absolute poor service. Not the way to...
