Six of us had an enjoyable Friday evening dinner here to celebrate the week’s end. We were able to reserve a table, although it wasn’t all that busy on this night. But don’t let that dissuade you from dropping by. If you like beer and like to eat good food (I mean who doesn’t right?!?) then you gotta give Stack Brewhouse a try. The food was surprisingly very good I must say. So flavourful. The smoky flavour of their salsa with wonton nachos was amazing!! Some of our meals are pictured below. My house burger was outstanding! My daughter commented that her pumpkin and ricotta gnocchi was the best gnochi she’s had anywhere in the city (I’m sure this upset my wife because she makes a good gnocchi herself! 😉) The service we received from our waiter, Dylan, was outstanding and made the dining experience that much more enjoyable. However there were a couple of annoyances that detracted only minimally from our experience. Our entres seemed to take longer than normal, especially considering it really wasn’t that busy in there. As well, they had overhead fans operating to move the air, but we felt it made it just a bit too drafty. We didn’t raise this concern with Dylan so I’m not sure if it could have been addressed. The ownership team has done a masterful job transforming this building into what it is today. If you haven’t already, go check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

I visited Sudbury's newest restaurant last night for the first time and wasn't disappointed! The parking lot looked full so we expected wait, walked in the door and got seated within 30 seconds. We had our choice of bar lounge or seated area up top. We sit in the seating area, had a cool view of the actual brewery behind a wall of glass windows. There was a reservation of over twenty people that were just beginning to arrive as we did, despite that our server was quick with drink and food orders, checked in in a timely fashion and got us our bill. We didn't feel rushed or like we were waiting at any point in time. I forget his name but he was a younger guy and he was great! Very knowledgeable of the menu, beer and how they make some of the menu items which we appreciated! I had the "Stack Mac" and my boyfriend the "Smorgasbord", both absolutely delicious and made in house! Thank you Stack for the great new addition to Sudbury, we'll be back for sure!

Another fantastic parking lot picnic spot! Since we can't eat-in during the pandemic, we decided to call & order lunch to pick up here today -- yummmm! I'm glad we did! Hubby chose the pulled pork sandwich with fries & I opted for the Nashville Hot Fried Chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries... both were a bit messy to eat in the car, but Stack provided us with enough napkins and a couple of wet wipes to get us through unscathed 😉 (**remember to ask for napkins, utensils & condiments**). FWIW, I think hubby's fries were the most delicious fries we've had in a long time... extra crispy, just the way I like them. We both enjoyed our choices and can't wait to be able to dine-in in person 😋😋

Tried to go to Stack Brewhouse for lunch (first timer) and realized too late that they have created a new partnership with a company called Aisle Nine to perform the food side of things. Not really sure of the details. Neither person working at Aisle Nine wore a mask at any point indoors and there are no dividers at checkout. The indoor restaurant seating area is closed, so takeout only or sitting at some picnic tables outdoors. Liquor license is not yet approved, so be prepared for non alcoholic drinks until then. They indicated you cannot legally consume alcohol from Stack Brewhouse either until the license is in place again. At which point they will offer various beers including Stack beers. Chicken and onion rings were overcooked a fair bit. Chicken portion on the bun was quite large though. Regular poutine appears to have curry in it... Not something you should surprise...
