I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tandoori Tastes, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The restaurant has a warm, inviting atmosphere that sets the scene perfectly for enjoying authentic Pakistani cuisine.
To start, we ordered the Chicken Tikka, which was incredibly flavorful. The chicken was marinated in a rich blend of spices and grilled to perfection, with a smoky, charred exterior that locked in the juicy, tender meat. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and the spice level was just right—enough to give it a kick but not too overpowering.
We also tried the seekh kebabs, and they were a highlight. Made from ground meat seasoned with fresh herbs and spices, the kebabs were tender, well-spiced, and cooked just right. They had a slight crispiness on the outside but were wonderfully juicy and soft inside. Served with a side of mint chutney, they had a fresh and zesty note that balanced the rich flavors of the kebabs.
The Chicken Karahi was the star of the meal. This traditional dish was served in a sizzling wok, with tender pieces of chicken simmered in a fragrant tomato-based gravy. The sauce was rich, with layers of flavor from ginger, garlic, green chilies, and aromatic spices. The fresh coriander and julienned ginger added a burst of freshness to each bite. Paired with warm naan, this dish was hearty and incredibly satisfying.
Overall, Tandoori Tastes is a must-visit for authentic Pakistani food. The tikka, kebabs, and chicken karahi are standouts, each dish prepared with attention to detail and full of flavor. Highly...
Read moreHi Tonight, I took delivery from tandoori tastes for one veg and one non veg thali.
First of all, it was delivered late to us. The food was at counter and ready for delivery but the lady at counter wasn't even aware of tht. We waited for good 45 mins at store to get delivery . And after asking about order, she said its just got ready (even though it was in front of our eyes from last 45 min but we were not very sure it was our order, so dint ask her ) The quantity of chicken and curry in chicken kadai and Butter chicken was very very less ,( only 1 very small piece in both of them). Chicken was stale and smelling. Literally threw the full chicken pieces Ordered malai kofta as veg curry in non veg thali but got chole (as if chole is by default in every thali) Chole was tasteless and with literally no spices. it was only boiled with hot water . Ordered kheer as sweet dish but got gulab jamun in both thalis. 6.Roti was also not fresh and it was in crumbs as if it was made 4-5 hrs before I would say only thing that was good , is salad - cucumber and onions Value for money is 0 . Overpriced items. Pathetic service and food taste...
Because of above reasons this restaurant can be avoided as there are other options available for authentic food and frsh food. Wish I could negative star for review. Pls pls avoid this restaurant. Posting some...
Read moreSomeone needs to call food safety department in this restaurant because we found a bug in our masala chai. But when we told the waitress (while showing the dead bug), she didn’t even acknowledge it, just saying it is just a piece of tea. But we knew what we saw, we are south Asians we know how masala chai looks like and that was a bug for sure. On top of that, one of their sound boxes fell down and while they were putting it back, a BUNCH of cockroaches came out from the back. It was disgusting but it also confirmed that what we saw in the tea was a bug because if they can have live cockroaches all over the place then they can have it in the food. If we talk about the food, it didn’t taste bad but the portions were so tiny for the price. They were very cheap with their portions; for example, they said in the “Combo for 2” meal that we would get 2 chicken kebabs but what they actually gave was 1 kebab cut in 2. In the same combo, they mentioned we would get 2 naans but once again we got 1 naan cut in half. We got the lamb karahi but there was barely any lamb pieces in there. Like talk about being cheap. It was a really disappointing experience; Sudbury doesn’t have many halal options and a lot was closed on Sunday so we had high expectations for this place. Except what we ended up getting was a huge bill for barely any food and a...
