I have been frequenting this cafe since June 2022. It's one of my favorite cafes in town. I have tried every coffee they have on the menu, my personal favorite being the Red Eye and the Flat White. Among the cold coffees I recommend the Chai Frappujo. They get their coffee beans from Social Coffee, which is a blend of Arabica. And they have a good quality espresso machine for their coffee. They also get all their tea bags from social coffee, and have a very wide range. I would recommend the 7 treasures and rooibos berry. They have a decent spread of pastries and small bites. And also among the few places that sell frozen yogurt downtown. But what elevates it above other cafes are the staff and the ambience. Over the past several months I have had numerous interesting conversations with Finn, Janik, Janca, Caitlyn, Andrea, Derek, April and others who are very welcoming. The owner Betty-Ann is very attentive and takes good care of the place. She ensures a good standard of hygiene. If there is anything I would like to change about this place, then it's their closing hours. They switched it to 6 PM instead of what used to be 7 PM, and that they close an hour earlier on Sundays. And sometimes they are closed without a proper advance notice. But overall, it's one of the best cafes in town. And they have produced a lot of repeat customers like myself over the years for good reasons.

I was in Sudbury for a family reunion recently, and popped in here for a good cup of coffee. I enjoyed the staff, and the space (the plants and art are just lovely) and the coffee/food was fantastic!! The back corner that looks out onto the patio area with all the plants was the most lovely spot. Unfortunately after enjoying my coffee for about 10 minutes, several men nearby began watching Youtube videos incredibly loudly on their phones, which was even more disturbing on top of the oddly loud music for so early in the morning. This really disrupted the enjoyment of my time here so I quickly finished my coffee and left. I went a few times over our stay and had this same experience. I really liked this place, but the other patrons really really killed this experience for me.

I go to Kuppajo Espresso Bar multiple times a week because (in my opinion) they have the BEST iced coffee. I order mine with 2 shots of hazelnut and 1 shot of vanilla, it is great (as a white coffee drinker) especially with their banana chocolate muffin, that they serve everyday. The atmosphere is lively, the aesthetics are beautiful, and it is always filled with local art. If you ever get the chance to speak with the owner, Betty Ann, she is super friendly, energetic, and hilarious! I also have found that film folks tend to flock to this particular cafe.

I come here frequently. The staff is always very pleasant and you are able to joke with them. The owner Betty-Ann is the sweetest lady I have ever met in my life. I had an incident there a few months back; I had took my journal out and my pencil, then ran outside for a moment. When I got back in, Betty-Ann had told me "You will never believe what just happened" Apparently, a private investigator had saw my journal (it is from chapters that says "Plans for World Domination" on the front) and saw me leave, so he deduced that I may be some sort of terrorist, planning to blow the place up. Betty-Ann was quick to say "Oh no, she is here all the time! That is just a journal!" (at this point, I had talked to Betty-Ann maybe twice, so I was shocked that she was so observant) I was embarrassed because I couldn't believe someone thought I was capable of that, but I was so beyond thankful that she had my back! Thank you Betty-Ann, you are incredible!

The only thing that I wish I could change about Kuuppajo, is the amount of space. I wish there was more! haha. It is a popular place, so sometimes it is hard to get seating (but this is not a reflection on them, it is just a popular place because they are so...

I try to support local, however received a real lack of customer service today July 16th. I ordered a Fresh Ginger Tea. It took a really long time for anyone to even start making the tea. I thought maybe the young barista had gone to the back garden to collect some fresh ginger or was preparing my tea somewhere else...after a few people that came after me had been served I was apparently remembered. The barista grabbed a cup, opened a Tupperware container from the fridge and took some "fresh" obviously previously prepared ginger from said container, and dumped it in my cup...added a hand selected slice of lemon (as in grabbed with his bare hand) filled it up with hot water and gave it to me without even an acknowledgement of the delay. To top it off, even if I wanted to drink it, the bits of ginger are floating and I couldn't drink without straining it. Disappointed to...
