A&W Canada — Restaurant in Guelph

If I could give this place a negative star review I would, but unfortunately they will have to get one star.

Ate at this spot a couple of times, and everything was cool. Then, one day I go there to eat after work, but my experience was completely different; I order my food, and 30 minutes (I’m not exaggerating) pass by as the staff serves everyone that ordered after me. I rarely get upset if a restaurant makes a mistake, but when I asked about my order, I was met with hostility that was completely unwarranted. After receiving my food after a long time, I took a bite into the burger and guess what? The chicken was fully raw, pink to the centre. Visibly upset, I went to complain, but the staff told me it’s not raw and i’m over reacting. I wish I had a picture of the burger to post it here to prove how ridiculous the entire situation was.

In fact, the A&W downtown Guelph served me moldy bread as well one time, but they were extremely nice and apologetic about the situation.

Overall, I would not eat there or any other...

This is my most frequently visited A&W location in Guelph, by far. The staff are friendly and polite and I have always been satisfied with the quality of the food and customer service.

The only inconvenience of this particular location is the lack of availability of the Beyond Meat burger, specifically. I have ordered this menu item several times and have quite often been told that it will be a 10 minute wait for this product to be made, which I don't always have time for. I appreciate that A&W offers Beyond Meat products, but I am unimpressed by how much longer this restaurant takes to ensure they are available for guests to order. I often place the same order at the Woodlawn or Wellington A&W locations and I have never had to wait for this product to...

I ordered 15 mins ahead on the mobile app and yet I was made to wait another 20 mins, without any kind of apology from the staff. First they denied and said the order is not in the system, then fished out a cold bag and said this is the one and we called out your name, with zero apology. I reminded tthem that this was a mobile order, not everytime the customer would be there to pick it up. Why wasn't I given the order 20 mins earlier if it was just lying there? I refused to accept the order, to which I was told "we are happy to throw it away" then the man goes ahead and throws the order in the Bin. No Refund, No apology, no service!!
