Yesterday I had my first time life amazing experience in Guelph at Jannat-E-Punjab Bar & Grill. I have been living in Guelph more than 25 year's but never try any Indian Restaurants because there wasn't any Indian Restaurants 25 year's ago in Guelph, so I'm so used to go to Mississauga/ Brampton Restaurants that became permanent habit but yesterday I had to go for my wisdom tooth surgery so I was craving for Dahi Bhala that's an Appetizer It's Ground lentil balls topped with Dahi, Spices, Mitthi/red & green sauce garnished with Potato dices & fresh aroma of cilantro leaves. First I thought I'm going to take out and eat on the way to going to clinic. Soon as I opened Restaurants Door I just loved the atmosphere. It was so calm, Set in Order, Standardize, Sort, Shine & Spotless. I got flat right there to see beautiful Indian Punjab ethnic touch wall decor. So I dine in to eat an appetizer Dahi Bhala was absolutely delicious š mouth-watering full of flavor & beautiful presented. The ambiance was warm & welcoming, making it a perfect š place to enjoy and relaxed. The staff were incredibly friendly & soft-spoken, providing excellent service š throughout. Overall it was a great dining experience & I would definitely highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality yummy š food & pleasant atmosphere. Coincidentally favorite music vibes "Arjan Dhillon" songs that makes cherry š on the š„® cake. The last but not least washroom was supper clean Spotless. I got very lucky to talk to owner of Jannat-E-Punjab Bar & Grill Raman DeepKaur very young beautiful, cute looking talented well spoken. She greeted me with kindness and pleasure. I really appreciated that she took time out from her very busy schedule talk to me. Even we both had small talk but it was nice...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe experience we (whole family, friends and relatives) had with Jannet E Punjab team was incredible. Right from planning the meals, setting timings, understanding the taste and flavors we needed, and to the final execution, the entire team has been so onboard and very accommodating.
We have been here for dine ins and take outs a multiple times. Based on our positive experience, we catered from here for not just 1 event, but 6 events in a row.
The best best best part of their service is the 'CONSISTENCY' in the taste. No matter, how many times we ordered the same dish, the taste was the same. The food was soooo flavourful. Every single time!!!
The starters - Vege pakode, mix pakode, Paneer pakode, chat papdi, Samose, noodles, machurian, kids style fries, chilli Paneer, sandwiches, Alloo Tikki, bread pakoda, dahi bhalla
The main course āPaneer butter masala, saag paneer dal makhni, daal tadka, shahi paneer, aloo gobhi, malai kofte, mix veg
Sweet dishes - Rabdi Jalebi, kheer, Gulab Jamun, kaju katli, pastries, Gajrela, besan Barfi
I might have missed some items.. But every dish deserve applauds. Oh yes, 'CHAA' (Indian style tea), every single person loved their chaa. It was soooo good.
All our friends and relatives loved their food very much. Even kids wanted to have more and more, which means a lot to us. Some of them who live nearby asked for their details and decided to visit the restaurant š
We all 100 percent loved the food, services and overall experience with the team. Definitely going to recommend to everyone who are looking for a stress free, unique, consistent and flavourful...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at Jannat-E-Punjab on a Saturday evening, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The dining room is warm and inviting, and the atmosphere was great at first. The music was at a pleasant level, creating a nice ambiance, but unfortunately, once the table next to me left, the server cranked the volume up to an almost unbearable level. I didnāt want to make a fuss, but I do wish Iād asked him to turn it back down to the original setting.
Service-wise, it was okay, though I had hoped for a little more guidance. I wasnāt sure what to order, and while I didnāt specifically ask for recommendations, a good server usually offers suggestions when they notice a customerās indecision. Nevertheless, I started with samosas while I decided on the main course, ultimately choosing the classic butter chicken ā you really canāt go wrong with that.
Iāll admit, the samosas werenāt as impressive as Iāve had elsewhere, but the butter chicken more than made up for it. It was honestly the best Iāve ever had! Iāve had many butter chicken dishes in my life, and this one stood out as exceptional. The portion was generous, and I couldnāt finish it all, so I took the leftovers home. Two days later, I reheated it, and it was even better than the first time!
If youāre in Guelph and love butter chicken, I highly recommend Jannat-E-Punjab. Despite a few small hiccups with the service and music, the foodāespecially the butter chickenāis absolutely worth it. Iāll...
