MR.SUB — Restaurant in Guelph

One of a kind experience!!! A+, 10/10. I went there on a recommendation from my brother. And right away I knew exactly who my brother was talking about when I stepped in the door. I have never received such good service from someone in a “fast food” place like I did today. If I spelled it correctly, Spiro took care of me and was absolutely amazing. He was kind, attentive, offered suggestions as I said it’s been a very long time since I came to Mr sub. He let me customize my Sub with all sorts of suggestions and recommendations I never would have thought possible at a place like this. Both him and his father asked me my name and they even knew the person who came in line after me by name. They really seem to care. I am blown away by the service he provided and I urge anyone looking for a sub to go to Mr sub and see for yourself! You will not be disappointed! My wife had ordered some late night subs and we don’t live far from this place and tonight the subs were ice cold when louisiana chicken subs are supposed to be hot cooked chicken , that is now what we got , the portions of the chicken inside the subs was half of what was usually in there , most of my sub was bread , my wife and I have been going to this place for a while now and the last year and a half I find the service is either over friendly/ boarders inappropriate or there is a heavier lady at night there who is always miserable and half fasts any sun she “has” to make. I feel bad leaving this bad of a review because the owner that works during the day the older man has excellent customer service skills and makes really good subs. This was my first visit to any Mr. Sub in Canada, was excited to see the menu and took a while to order, I was so flabbergasted by the customer service offered by the two gentlemen working there. Received a warm welcome , I asked for a recommendation and from that point it was full of surprises. The way in which the wrap was made was really a lesson, I always thought that the art of customer service is lost in our current society, but these guys literally changed it. Their recommendation was on point, the details they put on the food, respect and professionalism changed everything. I am so grateful and happy to visit them, our society needs people like them.
