Shanghai 360 — Restaurant in Guelph

I’m always skeptical of restaurants and I always check reviews and look at the food in person. I checked the reviews before I ate here last week and the reviews said it wouldn’t be good… when I came here I saw the food for myself, it was clean and neat. The employees are nice clean people. I didn’t see anything dirty or gross looking. I even looked into the kitchen through the window at the front. They filled up my plate with so much chicken too. I really don’t understand why they have bad reviews… the people giving bad reviews are probably coming in 10 mins before they close looking for fresh food right off the grill…..

Their food is overpriced. Their prices are $1 or $2 more expensive than the one at Square One and Yorkdale mall. They flip the to-go containers so their filling out the shallow side of the containers. Their food is old. They serve you old food. It doesnt even taste good. Meat is hard. Their shanghai noodles look and taste old. Sometimes it looked so brown like they had to cook it again in soya sauce that why it tasted so salty. Really a waste of money and considering it's overpriced, you're really wasting a lot of money. They will not last when other stores at the mall open unless they improve their price, quality of food...

How many servers does it take to substitute rice for green beans? I asked to get the combo #4 - 2 meat, 1 veggie, and rice and noodles. I asked to substitute the rice/noodles for veggie instead. "We can't do that." "Why not?" "We just can't. If we did, we'd have to charge you extra." "Why would I be charged extra for the same amount of food?" "We can't do that."
