Super Happy Garden — Restaurant in Guelph

We ordered the dinner for four, called and started the conversation by saying we wanted the dinner for four with spring rolls and fried rice (2 of the 3 choices that are included). We get our order, bring it home, and we didn't get spring rolls. My brother picked up the order so didn't notice they did not charge us for the dinner for four, but individual items which costed more than the dinner. I called and explained we were missing spring rolls and the lady immediately started accusing me of ordering wrong. She said I ordered the dishes individual instead of getting the dinner for four and said I should've said I wanted the dinner for four. I explained this was not what happened and she again said "well next time say you want the dinner for four". At no time did she acknowledge she could have made a mistake. She said we saved money because we ordered individually. I explained the dinner for four is $49 and when we added a single dish it would have come to $57, we were charged 67$. She said a dinner for four + a single dish is over $70 because of tax. The dish we wanted was 8.25$ extra on top of the $49 dinner. She again said it was my fault and I should have said I wanted the dinner. I explained that is in fact what I said and started the conversation with that. She denied that and said it was my fault.

Overall it was awful service, a terrible experience and we will be going to China Express from now on which is just as good if not better. It's in the speedvale and...

Super unimpressed with Super Happy Garden this evening. My boyfriend and I have eaten from here several times over the last few years and it's always been pretty good but tonight it has left me very dissatisfied to the point I will not return. There is nothing worse than spending $50 on a meal to be disappointed. The chicken friend rice and chicken lo mein we ordered were completely tasteless and over cooked. The noodles and veggies in the noodles were melt in your mouth mushy and I'm fairly confident the fried rice was in fact not fried, not even seasoned. The only thing they did ok was the chicken balls, because how can you mess that up? Even those weren't stellar though. Will definitely not be ordering from here again and advise you not to either, unless you're willing to take a gamble on tasteless...

super happy garden, you have lost one of your long-time customers (over 10 years). today, we ordered our usual dinner(s) from this restaurant through doordash. when the food was delivered, we discovered that the completely wrong order was delivered. so, we reported it to doordash who said they would reorder it for us. twenty minutes later, doordash called and advised us that the restaurant is refusing to make our order again due them already making it and delivering once, even after the person from doordash explained the situation (doordash was nice enough to refund our money). we will definitely NOT be ordering from super happy garden again and will be telling everyone we know about the unbelievably poor customer service...
