Ctrl V Virtual Reality Arcade - Guelph — Local services in Guelph

Ctrl V Guelph is by far the most friendly, fully and professionally trained arcade style business I've ever visited with my son. I've been here i think 4 times now, and 2 of them were this week. The other 2 of my visits were birthday parties, one of which, I hosted. Whether they are busy or super slow, the staff here are always extra friendly, and fully engaged with any player who may need additional assistance. I think the best part is that when they know there are players with special needs playing, they pay extra attention to anything they may need help with, even as they assist other players. There is one gentleman specifically I'd like to give a shout out too. I apologize, I dont think I ever caught his name. As he assisted my son and my friends 2 sons while they dove into their VR's, he had a great little chat with us. Verry friendly and helpful every time I've visited. My husband took me here for date night (his turn to pick). I don't play video games often and was hesitant - I'm really picky with the games I do play. I had the BEST time!! There are so many games to play, even for people like me who think they don't like games. There's really something for everyone. I had never done a virtual reality thing before - it is WILD! You really feel transported to another world. We spent an hour going through some different games and spending time on our favorites - a mix of multiplayer and solo. We laughed so much! My favorite was a game that is similar to Just Dance or Dance Dance Revolution (forget the name of the VR game). I had a BLAST (and an unexpected workout, haha). Wow, wow, wow. This place is just amazing! The game selection is very generous. It was a lot of fun even just watching others play. Came here with my hubby, dad, and brother. I unfortunately couldn't play as I had fractured my left hand and still recovering from my surgery. They all had a great time and loved it! The staff are the best part!! I was watching and asking lots of questions as this was our first time for a VR experience. Super friendly and helpful with guidance. Top notch gaming experience. A big Thank you to the Ctrl V team, they are truly outstanding and I can't say enough positive things about them. Not sure staff names to give proper credit too.
