This is for the manager and her team working the morning shift on Saturday, 8th of March.
First off, I'm as much of a "Buy Canadian" guy as anyone. I'm 100% on board with sticking it to the US, and have resented the growing Americanisation of Canada since I was a child. I hate that Wendy's is so much more common than Canadian burger joints.
But that's got literally nothing to do with YOU. And the way you and your staff were treated this morning by some brain dead hoser pretending he's better than you because Wendy's isn't "really Canadian" is not only doing it wrong, he's missing the whole point.
Too many Canadians are stuck working for Americans. That's a problem. But to verbally harass fellow Canadians in the name of chest-thumping patriotism reflects incredibly poorly on those of us doing our best to make our way in a country that's been suffocating under American corporate interests for 35 years already.
Canadians need to stick together now more than ever. You're working to support yourself, your family... you're doing what you can. All of you are. That's all anyone can ask of you. This Canuck hasn't forgotten that, and hopes you won't...

The fries we not even cooked , it's like they sat out to thaw and tossed em in a friecup ligit they were soggy zero crunch and we frozen on the inside . So for tonight they get an epic fail to extreme make sure your employees pay attention even in drive through one should not have to check their food at all, it should be what it is which is why you read back a customers order at the drive thru and assure the order with fresh cooked fires . 😶 that was the only food I had the chance to eat today and I couldnt even enjoy my favorite part my French fries Wendy's brags about their fires always fresh with sea salt. I ordered two Junior Cheeseburgers through the mobile app for my kids and went to the drive-thru. A person who seemed to be the manager told me they were out of junior patties, so they couldn’t make the burgers. Instead of apologizing or offering reasonable alternatives, she simply told me to cancel the order (which wasn’t possible through the app) or drive to their downtown location—40 minutes round trip.
What frustrated me the most was her attitude. She didn’t even bother to apologize or acknowledge the inconvenience. A manager should at least show some responsibility and offer proper solutions, but she acted as if it wasn’t her problem. Her complete lack of customer service and basic courtesy was shocking.
