Ordered from here for the first time on a whim because I didnāt know what to eat and was craving good takeout. I called ahead since it was 30 min before close and then went in to place my order. The woman working was extremely nice and Iām so grateful she didnāt mind my late order!! This place is a hidden gem and a new favourite.
I got the spicy greek souva with chicken, fried halloumi snack, and bardot wild card drink. Be warned that the pita is messy but sooo worth it I literally scraped the packaging clean. I was spoiled with toppings and the pita itself, the chicken, and the spicy harissa/tzatziki sauce combo were mouth watering. The fried halloumi is a game changer - 6 pieces that come with a side of their red pepper feta dip. Iāve never seen or tried the Bardot drinks, but as a sparkling water lover, these were exciting to try too!
To sum it up: generous portions, great value ($$), flavour fireworks, fun drink selection, canāt wait...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo disappointed ā¹ļø because I was so looking forward to trying this place, since I love Mediterranean cuisine. I really thought it was going to be really good because the employees are so nice and welcoming but Iām not sure how a mistake with my food can happen. They seemed like they cared about the restaurant. Anyway, I ordered the Og bowl half fries and rice, halloumi with the roasted red pepper dip. I was so excited to eat it and then I was left so disappointed and upset because I had to throw out most of it. First off, my food was cold and the fries were undercooked still partially frozen. The roasted red pepper dip is for sure spoiled. I know because it was really acidic and sour. It went bad Let me tell you how sick I got into the nightā¦. Not good!!!!! I got very sick I want to come back and have a refund issued please because this is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTasty, mostly homemade mediterranean food dished up by lovely, helpful staff. The gyro may be the best in Guelph, and lamb meatballs are really good too. The pitas in the pita and dip are seasoned and lightly fried, and the hummus is so smooth and not overpowering. The make your own options look really good, both veggie and meat (all halal). There were roasted mushrooms, roasted corn, pickled onions, pita strips... A touch on the expensive side, but what isn't these days. At least you're getting quality here. Looking forward to going back for the baklava based on other reviews....
