A thoroughly average place despite all the reviews.

Ordered the large chicken platter for takeout which was fine but nothing to gush over. The chicken itself was tender but there wasn't a particularly large amount and the pieces were cut uneven, resulting in a lot of small pieces and bigger chunks. The sauce sort of covers this up making it look like there's more than there actually is.

The rice was also fine, it had a very strong scent of cinnamon or another spice I couldn't identify. I wasn't really bothered by it but something I did notice, could have just been the chicken or sauce mixing into it.

Sauce was good. It's a bit on the sweeter side of white sauces served at places like this so YMMV.

Salad - literally just iceberg lettuce, a couple rings of onion and some bits of tomato. Meh.

The photo looks like a lot of food but the container is not very deep. I would consider it a relatively small portion for a "large" compared to places serving similar food at similar prices of $14-15. I often end up eating chicken platters across two meals but this was finishable in one sitting.

I don't think this place is bad per se, it's just nothing special. A good use of 2.5/5 if that were an option. Rounding down to 2/5 because I was not impressed despite the very, very, very high volume of good reviews. Maybe Ash should have handed me my order and it would have...

Today, I was surprised to see that Habibz Corner had responded to a review supposedly written by me. However, I was confused because I had never written such a review.

Later, my mother, who works as an Uber driver, explained to me that when she went to pick up an order, the staff asked her to leave a review before giving her the food. Since my mother is older and unfamiliar with these things, the staff took her phone and gave themselves a 5-star rating without her consent. Withholding a food at 10PM for an older woman that is working hard to deliver an order to get a fake 5star review? I didn’t even care for a 5 star that I saw on my notification, but how is this even possible!!!!!!!!!!

I am EXTREMELY OFFENDED AND DISAPPOINTED! My mother does not even speak English well enough to consent to this. If the restaurant is truly providing good service, why resort to such dishonest tactics?

I have reported this matter to Uber, but I also urge the owner to act more professionally and treat hardworking individuals with kindness and respect.

We had three separate take out orders. We get there and the guy has them all in on bag with one price. We asked him to make it three separate and I’m not joking it took him 7 minutes to figure out how to use the machine. When we got the food we opened to make sure everything was there as we wanted to go to a park and enjoy it and there was no utensils in it. Good thing we checked. So we opened our food and they got all three of our orders wrong. Maybe the kitchen staff is smoking in the night shift. Two of us asked for extra sauce and got less sauce. And the third one ordered his food on fries and they guy put it on rice. Then they gave him fries but the fries were very old, seemed like they had been deep fried multiple times to the point where they were like chips, crispy and disgusting. The rice was wet, very moist and still stuck together, I believe it hadn’t been cooked long enough.
