I was excited to try Crooki, as it’s been all over social media. To say I was disappointed is an understatement.
I purchased a chicken club sandwich, a coffee and a cookie and the coffee was the only thing that was decent. I decided to try the double chocolate cookie and couldn’t get past two bites, as it was flavourless. I ended up throwing it out as it tasted nothing like what a double chocolate cookie should taste like.
As for the club sandwich, it was prepared using the pre-made ciabatta bread from Costco, as well as pre-cooked chicken that I spent over $12 for. For a cafe, I thought they would have at least used fresh bread and chicken but everything was pre-made and simply put together.

Could have got a better sandwich from Tim hortons for half the price....

Everything they have advertised is a.i generated, and the audacity to do it on campus at an art school is humiliating and beyond rude. Not to mention they charge an extra $2 for their sandwiches because the price listed is only for the filling in the sandwich and not the bread. Staff and service is nice but other than that no one should go here. Pathetic...
