AVOID UNLESS YOU LIKE GOING TO A RANDOM WAREHOUSE ON YOUR OWN TO FIND YOUR STUFF
At first the experience was great, but then tracking down my items after they arrived at my final destination was an absolute nightmare. I received mixed messages about whether or not my items arrived and had to try and track down the third party warehouse they were working with myself. Panda moving could not reach this third party warehouse on their end, and 9 days after they took my boxes I still had no clue where my items were, and neither did they. They gave me a number for the random warehouse they were working with which was out of service, and I had to painfully search for a general customer service line for the brand of warehouse they were using and phone them myself.
Eventually, I had to drive to the location I found for this random warehouse and beg to have my belongings released to me. Panda moving initially said we would be refunded since we received the items later than promised, but then retracted that offer and said that even though I had to go through this nightmare of finding myself on my own, I still technically got my stuff within a reasonable time.
So, after wasting tons of time trying to track down my items on my own with no help from Panda moving, and eventually driving decently far to go and attempt to beg for my stuff, panda moving wouldn't give me even a small discount because at the end of the day they considered all of this reasonable since I 'got my stuff within a reasonable time' (aka 10 days after it initially was picked up, and I WOULD NOT have gotten my things without the herculean effort on my end to locate this sketchy warehouse they send your belongings to).
So, thanks panda, for the added stress and nightmare trying to find my belongings. And thank you again for offering not even a crumb of compensation for the nightmare I went through.

Read moreThese guys did work hard and did move the stuff, I must say though I’m very disappointed in the service. They damaged multiple pieces of funiture (they were loaded and were not taped shut) it would have been nice if they recommended that they were, I would have done it, they removed my mattress from its travel bag instead of securing it and called it a safety hazard which could have been remedied had they said so instead of throwing it in their dirt truck without a bag on, the driver almost took out my grandmothers power lines only stopping after I yelled as loud as I could to stop (the truck was touching the power line before he stopped) they banged walls and did everything but disassemble the furniture before moving. They were over a hour late to show up, they blamed me for everything they damaged just shy of telling me it’s my fault the power line was my fault too. These guys are the reason I’ll never use a moving company again. It was my first time and I am now horrified to hire any more people they charged me 500 for 4 pieces of furniture ( not complaining it was a pretty far move) after all that they gave me a 10 percent discount. I tried to ask for a better price now that I had to clean my mattress after putting it on the ground (winter and salt was on the ground) and fix every other piece of furniture accept one, they left damage at both buildings and everything listed and Michael the supossid owner called me a crook and blamed me for every single thing that happened. Don’t recommend at all. You’d be better off with a U-Haul and a buddy (I really wish i did and paid my friend the difference) they need to slow down and stop acting like it’s a race. Read morePanda was a pleasure to work with for an in-city move we recently did with them. We moved my mother this month with Panda and everything was great:
Price … a fraction of what another company quoted. Any worry of a coinciding sub-standard service was quickly put to rest though.
Communication … Michael was super easy to work and communicate with. Every text answered in reasonable time and always with a friendly, detailed response. Had no problem moving the date and time on short notice due to a conflict at our new residence as well.
Moving Crew … Richard and Gus were kind, gentle, and efficient. Booked for 10 am, got a text at 9:50 and the truck was there at 10 on the dot. Richard was clearly the lead and was as efficient as possible with the only limiting factor being inability to put elevators on service. Super polite and respectful. Easy to tell he cared about what he was doing.
