MAAAARTHAAAAS!
My bf and I stopped ordering pizza for the longest time. We were so tired of feeling ripped off by pizza places in HRM. We were always disappointed with our orders. We feel "if you want it done right, just do it yourself" so now we make our pizzas homemade.
Well not tonight! We took a chance on Martha's after seeing their Instagram photos.
We ordered the 12" pizza & 12" garlic finger special for $26.49. I was first impressed that they allow 6 toppings! We are not pepperoni & cheese people. We like ingredients on our pies. I ordered a works and GF with bacon and extra donair sauce.
Firstly, there was no need to order extra sauce cuz these guys hook you up. They didnt give 2 ounces of sauce to use on your first two fingers and eat the rest dry. They gave me a huge cup plus an extra smaller one (which is the one I ordered). Secondly, GARLIC TOWN! AND CHEESE FO DAYS! Our first bites were garlicky, melty heaven. A final note about the GF - the donair sauce is THICC. They're not stuffing that container into the box, turning it to hot miserable water.
The pizza itself was FULLY LOADED! These guys aren't throwing on 4 green peppers n' a mushroom and calling it a day. I had every topping in every bite I took. Also, I ate all my crust!! Why? Because the toppings spread to the very edges! These guys don't skimp! The pizza sauce was flavorful and plentiful. There wasnt any need to spread the extra donair sauce.. cuz that pie aint dry!! But there aint no shame in soaking up all that creamy deliciousness nonetheless. Lastly, the pizza was FULLY COOKED despite the loaded toppings. Who'd-a-thunk a pizza place could figure out NOT serving a RAW works pizza?! Mind = blown. We each ate 1 pizza slice & 2 fingers and were FULL??!?!!
Marthas, if you guys consistently deliver a product like this, you have customers for life. BLESS.
*EDIT
Ordered a second time. Same special as last but we decided on donair pizza this time.
The garlic fingers we spot on, again. The pizza was delicious - so cheesy! Ample toppings! Nice and thick with toppings, very filling. This place is the best choice for pizza and garlic fingers, hands down.

Read moreSo, I walked into the pizza restaurant on May 17th around 9:30 PM, excited to grab a delicious meal. But as soon as I stepped inside, I was greeted by a sight that left me utterly disgusted. There it was, a mouse scurrying across the floor! It was such a shock, and I immediately lost my appetite.
I couldn't bring myself to stay and eat in that environment. The presence of a mouse in a restaurant is a serious issue that raises concerns about hygiene and cleanliness. It's not something you expect to encounter while dining out. I quickly made the decision to leave the restaurant, as I couldn't bear the thought of continuing my meal in such conditions.
I believe it's crucial to address incidents like these to ensure the safety and well-being of all customers. I would strongly advise reporting this to the restaurant management and even the health authorities. They need to be aware of what happened so they can take immediate action to resolve the situation and prevent any future occurrences.
Overall, this experience has left me with a negative impression of the restaurant. I hope that they take this matter seriously and implement measures to improve their hygiene practices. Dining out should be an enjoyable and safe experience, and encountering a mouse certainly doesn't...
Read more3 stars for being our go to for the last 20 years. Food is great and portions are also good. Service is always great. Sadly our family have decided to go elsewhere from now on. Dec 23rd ( final shopping day) we called around 915 to make an order. We had been shopping all day. We make it a tradition to get Martha’s pizza every Dec 23rd after we finish shopping. This year they refused to take our order because they were closing at 930pm for Christmas. How could a business close 2 days before a holiday even starts? Especially on the busiest night of the year? We called Jessy’s and they told us we would need to wait 45 min to an hour because of how busy they were. We didn’t mind and enjoyed the pizzas (similar to Martha’s), they even gave us a free medium garlic fingers for making us wait! I personally love Martha’s pizza, but twice this year I have been turned away due to early closure. Growing up in Nova Scotia we never had this problem. Pizza places closed hours after their scheduled closure times. It’s how it’s always been here. Now you are lucky to find a place...
