Mezza Lebanese Kitchen — Restaurant in Halifax

I have ordered veggie lebanese platter online.

After picking up the order, I came home and noticed lentil and rice are very soggy and runny which wasn't the case in the past.

Since I live nearby, I went back to the store and asked employees about the food quality and they responded this is how it should look like.

I asked for the replacement and they asked me to pay 17$ again which I never expected in service industry.

In summary, I would say that the customer service is very poor and staff don't have any skills to apologize with the customer or talk to the customer. Very unprofessional behavior. Employee named Sunny was taking the lead and explaining me that he is working in Mezza for the last 12 years and lentil and rice were always the same which kind of surprises me.

Only good thing was the food. Was my third time going in and just like every other time it took forever only 2 people infront of me. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because they are a new store but there still way to slow. Out of the 3 times I went in each time someones order was skipped and they would ask what they got. Every other mezza I have been to you order your food and then pay at this one you have to pay and order which i think slows things down big time also when you walk in there there is no order here signs so just like every other mezza you assume you go to order your food then pay which makes it confusing for most people that have gone to other mezza kitchens. I don’t know who’s moronic idea it was to put the fries, Greek salad, shawarma , turnips and pita all in one cardboard container with no dividers between anything. (They used to use plastic containers dividing everything) But my $23 shawarma plate all tastes like Greek dressing and hummus.

Literally plopped a scoop of hummus right on top of my chicken and fries and the fries had soaked up the Greek salad dressing.

Bad enough the quality has been going downhill, but now unless you want your fries to taste like Greek salad dressing and hummus, stay away.

I had to throw half my dinner away.
