I was in the line up of this Tim Hortons this morning and witnessed the staff not take accountability for their mistakes not once but twice in a row. Rather than just say sorry and correct their mistakes, they rather stand there, hold up the line and argue with the guest stating they did not order that. The first was a woman who goes to this location every single day. She gets the same order for herself and her sister. The coffee always has milk in it. I know this as a customer who is usually there around same time. They made her coffee with cream and when she asked for it to be corrected. The staff chose to say, " you did not order it that way". Then right after that a lady placed her order. She got a breakfast sandwich, A HASHBROWN (which everyone heard her order) and a coffee. She receives her order. No hashbrown. She than asked where her hashbrown is. The staff said you did not ask for that, prints of the receipt and hands it to the lady. Since when was it ok to blame the guest for staff mistakes?! How dare you tell a paying guest what they did or did not order! Even if it were the guests mistake, you just say sorry, correct the mistake and keep it moving. Never hold up a busy line up arguing with a paying guest. I worked in the food industry for a very long time and was taught to treat the guest as if they sign my pay, because they basically are. Without paying guests, you...
Read moreI have crossed Canada 3 times and have never had worse service at a Tim Hortons than here. It took us nearly 10 mins in the drive thru to get to make our order, and we were behind 1 car. I thought the lady ahead of me was buying everything in the shop, until I got to the speaker and realized buddy working had no idea what year it was let alone where he was working. I had to repeat my order not twice, not three times, but FOUR times, and that includes twice when I got the window to get my order and he gave me the wrong stuff. The guy (who I won't name here), was a skinny teenager who sounded as half baked as the donuts, somehow gave me my girlfriends coffee (which tasted horrible), but didn't give us any of her food nor my own drink. As I'm repeating the order back to him within SECONDS (I kid you not) he forgot what I told him and was fumbling about behind the cash in a daze. I told him to forget it and left. What food we did receive was lukewarm at best, poorly assembled, and tasted as bland as the paper...
Read moreWASTE OF TIME. Not only is this Tim Hortons on Herring Cove/Pinegrove SLOW, many of it's employees are incompetent. If you're unclear on an order because of the intercom system, DOUBLE CHECK at the window. I ordered a large white hot chocolate and three oatmeal raisin cookies. It was dark, late and I didn't double check everything. (Who does for hot chocolate and a cookie?!) I was handed a bag, and a cup, I gave her $6.50 (I wasn't given a total so when she thanked me I figured, no biggie, just a tip) I got home opened the bag to ONE oatmeal raisin cookie, and a medium BLACK COFFEE. REALLY? I called numerous times through the day trying to speak to a manager who apparently was never there. But I was offered to drive back to their store and "get the correct order, but they didn't have anymore oatmeal raisin cookies" 'Would I like to drive back to their store to get what I actually ordered, minus the cookies I already paid for'? NO I WANT TO DRIVE PAST YOUR STORE AND GO STRAIGHT TO OSBORNE...
