A loyal customer for 4 years—deeply disappointed. I've been a customer of Acton Pizza for over four years, regularly spending good money for what I considered gourmet-quality pizza. I've also always made a point to tip the drivers generously. But after my most recent experience, I’m honestly questioning whether I can ever order here again. I have a serious allergy to tomatoes, and one of the reasons I’ve stuck with Acton Pizza for so long is because they’ve consistently gone above and beyond to accommodate that. If you have food allergies, you know how rare and meaningful that kind of care is. Unfortunately, last night changed everything. I placed an order totaling around $100, including tip. Out of the four pizzas, two were explicitly ordered without tomato due to my allergy. Two phone calls were made stressing this, and the staff assured me everything would be taken care of. Trusting them, I took a bite—and immediately realized there was tomato sauce on the pizza. The second pizza? Same issue—. Not only was this careless, it was dangerous. To make matters worse, delivery took over an hour. And the response from the restaurant? An offer for a free pizza and dipping sauce—as if that somehow makes up for the risky mistake. After a back and forth we with the manager and manager to owner I was given $20 in compensation.

Response to the owner, first off, I'm not sure what you are speaking of as I don't live in Acton therefore did not have delivery, so it would be impossible to stand at my front door for over 5 mins in -31 degree weather, unless you deliver to Petawawa? If you had delivered to a house 7 hours away then yes I would expect cold pizza, but my review wasn't about cold pizza, it's about a poor attitude. Furthermore, ofcourse I would not of given you my address, why would I when my boyfriend and I had walked in, ordered, and picked up the pizzas? First time reviewer of your establishment and have only posted one review and now this edit to it. I'm clearly not the only one with a negative opinion as you seem to have us all confused as the situation you described did not happen to me. Dear poor fella, we Google reviewers do not all look the same. When the order we had placed showed up it was short a pizza, the driver was SUPER apologetic and offered to run right back to get it. When I called the restaurant to let them know, I was met with a completely different attitude by the owner. First, he claimed I didn’t order it. That was wrong, as it was right on the receipt to prove that not only did we order it but also paid for it. Secondly, he behaved as if me calling to let them know I was missing some of my order was an inconvenience for him. He hurried me off the phone saying the driver would bring a new one.
After 30 mins had passed, I called back to check on the status of the missing pizza and the owner hung up on me. That will be the last time I order from there. The food is good but unfortunately the terrible service made a way...
