I am giving a 1 star. Every time I've come here I get some sort of attitude from the servers, reasons unknown... I'll smile and be polite, and it's as though I've wronged the women somehow in the past... On top of never being asked if food is good or if we could use a top up on water... I can't eat any dairy products, which I have said to the server for any dish I order to ensure I don't get some form of a milk product. I am severely lactose intolerant. Tonight before ordering my dish I said is there any milk in this dish the woman said with attitude, "no it clearly says nothing about milk"... well I get the fish I eat it and within minutes my stomach starts to cramp up and a whole slew of other issues arise (anyone with this problem can relate)... Not once were we asked if we needed any more water or how the food was... I had to get up and say I need my bill and some water... Bottom line. This place sucks. The servers have to check their attitudes prior to starting their shift and wake up a little instead of hanging out in the washroom texting and talking on the phone... as a local there are WAY better places to go...

Our recent visit to Shepard's Crook was a masterclass in poor service and utter disregard for customers. We arrived with high expectations, but any semblance of hope quickly dissipated as we languished at the entrance, completely ignored for a full 20 minutes. The lack of acknowledgment from the staff was nothing short of astonishing.
When we were finally seated, another 15 agonizing minutes passed with no sign of anyone coming to take our order. It was as if we were invisible, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy. With an event looming and our patience wearing thin, we had no choice but to leave, hungry and thoroughly disappointed.
We can't really rate the food because we were never given an opportunity to taste it. Shepard's Crook may have an inviting name, but their service is anything but. This experience was an unfortunate reminder that some establishments still believe customers' time holds no value. We won't be returning, and I recommend others steer clear if they value their time and...
Read moreSmall little pub on old Georgetown main st. We get sat at the front of the pub. Limited seating. They won't allow reservations to be made. We order drinks. There were 10 adults and our twin toddlers. We were there for a few drinks and dinner. Showed up 630pm.i order vodka cranberry. It was ok. Waitress comes back. Empty glasses left on the table. I order another. A friend tells waitress bring me 2. So I get a pint glass with cranberry. 1 single bar shot. I passed it around to a few. They tried it. Sure enough. No way it was a double. My friend orders stuffed broccoli bites. They were way overcooked. Almost burnt. Some didn't have anything inside. They gladly remade them. Much better the 2nd time. I ordered 3 lbs of wings. 2lbs honey garlic. 1 lb honey garlic and Sriracha. My wings were so overcooked. They replaced 1 lb. We brought them home. Ate one later that night. It was so red inside. As were the rest. Bill was well over a 100. I understand waitress trying to make a living. Wasn't her fault directly. So I tipped her very well. But I won't be back...
