I wish I could award negative stars. Our first visit to Stacked was less than unpleasant. We were a hockey team in town for a tournament. We all headed over to stacked to enjoy some breakfast between games, and I wish we had chosen somewhere else.
The boys were seated separately from their parents. One child was sitting with us when he ordered and his parent confirmed that what he was ordering was from the kids menu. She was told Yes, it was from the kids selection. When they received their bill, they were charged for the adult size. It was again reiterated it was from the kids menu. The manager came out to address the concern. I wish I had gotten her name, and I wouldn’t have minded complaining to head office myself. In all my years of dining out with friends and family, I’ve never seen a situation handled so poorly in my entire life. The manager was one of the rudest encounters I’ve ever experienced. Customer Service is not her best skill. We were basically told it wasn’t her problem the miscommunication occurred. When asked why a bunch of children were given adult menus in the first place, again not their problem. They accepted no responsibility for their role in this situation. Told to pay up, it wasn’t their fault. Even if that were the case, the attitude and disgust in which we were addressed was completely unacceptable. We were then complained at because they don’t like to take teams. Then they should have said no in the first place. They don’t like teams, but didn’t mind accepting our money and tips. This has turned me off from even going to another location. Your customers are the ones who keep your business going, so when you treat them like dirt, you will lose business. I will also share this experience with the rest of our team as well as friends/family so they can be sure to not spend their hard earned money at...

Read moreI ordered the Stacked Hash and the Banana Berry Crepes.
Stacked Hash: As you can see in the photo the hollandaise sauce came to me cold. The home fries themselves are tasteless. The menu states the home fries are tossed.. they are not... the dish is layered. Food is filling, portion sizes are big but very bland. Sunny side up eggs came out hard. Two pieces of white toast comes with what tastes like plastic homemade strawberry jam.
Banana Berry Crepe: The crepe is very spongy with many holes. Singey with the nutella. Lots of banana on the inside. Chocolate drizzle is nice and whipped cream fresh.
Fruit Bowl: Highly unsatisfied with. Was hard to eat, slimey, and I didn't have much of one kind of fruit (oranges).
Waitress: The service was very good, the waitress was very calm and sweet, made sure we had what we needed at the table and asked us a perfect amount of times how our food was and if we needed anything else. When ordering you are allowed to choose various things such as type of toast, location of dishes, where you want the whipped cream, which sides you want etc.
Setting: I love the colours and the booths with the plexiglass up however there is one wall with posters that are unsuiting.
Visual Presentation: The food look amazing and came...
