Date of visit: Sunday Sept 24, 2023 After a hike along the Bruce Trail in the area, we came here for dinner and a drink. We googled it and saw that It is a classic british style pub with many menu items you expect to find in a pub. The servers were all very nice and friendly. We ordered Yorkshireman’s Dinner, Chicken pot pie with fries and Cajun pierogies as an appetizer. The pierogies were tiny little fluffy & crunchy pillows – sprinkiled with cajun seasoning, and served with sour cream. They were a nice lite & tasty appetizer. The Yorkshire dinner is a huge platter of Yorkshire pudding that covers the plate. It is filled with roast beef, mashed potatoes, carrots, and gravy. The Chicken pot pie is a creamy mix of chicken, gravy, peas, carrots and potatoes, covered in a light flaky pastry topper and served in a mini cast iron pan. The fries are hand cut – unfortunately mine came cold and had been sitting too long while they waited for the pot pie to cook. If they were fresh, they would have been good. We had a good meal. And great service. It is a nice place for a meal. The menu has many items – so there is sure to be something you will enjoy, and several good beers on tap. Lots of parking in the lot, plenty of seating inside and outside (although the patio was closed when we were there).

A terrific place for great food, a super beer selection and THE BEST STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING ever! After 3 weeks in Ireland at many restaurants I found myself comparing their offerings to Red Harp. Some dozen of taste tests later- ( and a few added pounds) The Red Harp Sticky Toffee is by far the winner. Don’t take my word for it, order it yourself- but you have to leave room for it as the main courses are not only generously portioned but delectable! Never disappointed by anything on the menu- meat loaf, wings, the Yorkshireman, pasta- etc. Etc. Red Harp is the full deal- great food, great service and atmosphere. A top 10 spot, and unfortunately not serving Furnace Room Brewery beverages! But they’re working on it. ( update Nov/2022) The Sticky toffee still rules! My dinner partner wouldn’t let me lick the dish….so tempting, soooo good! Sooo necessary finish to a great meal!🤩

The atmosphere and decor are amazing, the prices are fantastic for the portion sizes and the food itself is really good. The patio was filled with people listening to the live music so we went inside. It was so busy that at times we felt we were forgotten as it took a really long time to get our coffee refills and we sat quite a while before having to actually approach the bar to ask for our bill. We don't blame the waitress... she was great and always apologetic... they just needed more staff.

We came in for dinner this past weekend. After a long busy day we were looking forward to a good meal. We have been in a few times prior. Or last visit (prior to this one) was in the summer. This visit we ordered steak and Gunness pie side of mashed potatoes, the special BLT wrap and soup(Italian wedding).

We waited 10 min before our server even came to take drink orders, she was not personable or friendly. She went to walk away, my husband asked if we could give our food order as well. It was like we were inconveniencing her. I asked for my soup to start. Food arrived about 20 min later. My soup came with meal. Soup was Luke warm to say the least. my wrap was cold like it was sitting in the fridge, bacon was just as cold, there was no mayo, dressing nothing on it Just lettuce, tomato and bacon wrapped. My husband's dinner was the pastry on top with 5 to 6 of pieces of meat under and some gravy. Pastry was over cooked, and potatoes he said we're luke warm. Server never came back to check on us once. We had to ask another server for our check. Server came, again we felt like an inconvenience to her. We tried to give small talk and we received very little reply.

We were hungry so we ate anyway. Portions have gone way down in size, definitely not like it was in the summer. I get economy is hurting, and things change, but this is just a little to much.

$56 left feeling hungry, we did not feel welcomed like every other time. Service and food...

It's with a heavy heart that I write this review, as we have enjoyed this restaurant throughout the years, and have been avid supporters throughout the pandemic. Quality - the quality of their food has plummeted. They used to use fresh potatoes to make their fries, but, now they use frozen fries that are absorbed in fat. Granted, this is a "fast food" type restaurant...but cmon. When two orders of burgers and fries cost 50$ including tip, you should take pride in the food you serve to your customers. Like I said, we've enjoyed this restaurant, and have supported this local buisness for years. And the loss in food quality, that has been a reoccurring problem has left me no choice but to leave this honest review.

Remember, your customers are what drives your buisness. We've supported you throughout some of the toughest times the last 2 years. The least you could do, is take pride in the food that you serve rather than serving food that has repeatedly shown to be some of the worst quality I have ever witnessed. The recent pictures posted on Google review show fresh cut fries. The last few times our family have ordered from this restaurant do not include the quality of food (yes im stuck on the fries) posted in these pictures. Have we happened to catch your restaurant at a bad time?

If your going to charge your customers the amount of money you do for pub food, serve us food that won't lead us to a...

Great environment, but food is inconsistent. They had a great band in and we went to watch them play. Band was great but service was a disaster. Bar area was full but we sat at a tabe. Took forever to get a waitress to come over. My daughter and her boyfriend ordered wings and I ordered a sweet potato fries. The wings came and I thought my sweet potato fries were next. Waited over half a hour. A waitress came by to take dishes away and I asked about my fries. She walked over to the group of girls who were standing there chatting and folding napkins and asked about them. She went in the back and they came out 10 minutes later with my fries. If I hadn't been there for the band I would have said something about the time. Tonight we went for deep fried dessert, cold brownie with a mushy crust. Not what we were expecting. And did mention to the waitress. She said she will tell them in the back. Not" oh can I get you another instead". Paid full price for it even though only half was eaten. The baked brie is always inconsistent. Hard bread sometimes. Almost inedible. The onions are not caramelized in the maple glaze often and usually undercooked. When the place first opened it seemed like they cared about their food and service. Now it seem like they just want to push food out to get you...
