A&W Canada — Restaurant in Hamilton

Just atemped to have a meal here while heading to London for a long day of work. First impression was that it seemed like a choir for the lady to take my order. Order a teen burger, a mama burger and rings. Rings were great, but both burgers were cold. Spoke to the manager and lady at the counter asking if they would mind remaking the burgers. I was told that they had just been made by the manager himself and that they would not remake them after them as they were just made(they were cold) I requested a refund, and while they were completing it, I was then asked if I wanted the burgers remade, I refused as I had already asked for them to remake the burgers and continued with the refund.

How can something be cold when it just apparently came off the grill. The odd part about it all is that there wasn't even grease on the burger as if it was from.the right before. Will not be returning to this location and would have rather had a better experience so I could have left a...

I want to start by saying that A & W has been a favourite of mine, and my friends, for decades. Unfortunately though, for the past couple of years we have been disappointed on every visit. The burgers are consistently served lukewarm, with limp lettuce and soggy bun. The fries are only slightly warmer and are stone cold within minutes. The Golf Links Rd. location is the only one for miles around. It is a drive-thru, attached to a gas station/car wash - not very appetizing. You would think they could find a better location, perhaps with some seats, given that they are in the Meadowlands Power Center which has plenty of available space. What a missed opportunity for them and us and a waste of a good franchise. Come on guys, put some effort into it! Hey there listen up...coming to A&W for over half a century now since before they closed and reopened again. Here, Ancastor, for over a year now, still great food, service and same awesome taste as always. Never had a problem till today when I used the app special offer but was charged twice the price to my credit card. When I told the manager there with the glasses,bang, he totally refunded my card immediately and charged me only the app special offer price. GREAT SERVICE, GREAT PEOPLE...even though i am about as tech savvy as an empty paper cup, probably my fault anyway but HE HELPED ME OUT...you got that, good, then you can stop listening to any bad reviews about this A & W cause if you don't like it they'll make it right...Happy Holidays Everyone.
