barBURRITO — Restaurant in Hamilton

First time trying food from here and I loved it. I would have rated it a 5, but the steak burrito was dry at the top and all the sauce settled at the bottom. The burrito should have been wrapped properly. When you taste it with the sauce it was more the texture of ground beef which was surprising as it was far from dry. Not only that, there was a hair in the burrito. I mean no one wants hair in their food but at the same time it happens. The fries were good. Reminds me of Costco fries. I also loved their loaded fries. I had bang bang shrimp bowl and it was soo good. The one thing I complained about was the spice level. It was spicier than I thought it would be. It didnt help that I also added extra sauce to the salad. Other places I have tried was no where near this spicy. Even still, I would order it again, just maybe minus the extra sauce. The other thing that surprised me was the churro. When I saw the wrapper, I didn't expect it to be a long churro. There was no picture on Uber so I assumed I would be getting a few smaller pieces. I wanted to try it because I have never heard of an oreo churro and it peaked my interest. If you love both of those food then you should definitely try it. It is basically half churro and half oreo in every way. The shape is churro but color is oreo. The texture is soft like a churro but also crunchy like an oreo. The taste... I come from owning 4 quick service restaurants. I have over 10 years experience in the game and had I used the bathroom before I ordered my food, I would not have ordered.

The bathroom is the most obvious dirty area of a restaurant. If you cannot keep that clean, then god knows what’s sliding behind the counter. It was disgusting. I’ve attached photo for reference. I really hope they take this seriously because I didn’t want to touch a thing in there. I felt dirtier leaving the bathroom than when I went in.

Now for a positive, the food did taste great. Everything seemed and appeared to be fresh. But I judged restaurant by how they take care of their dirtiest place, the bathroom.

The atmosphere was dull and quiet. It’s nice to sit with a bit of background music. It seemed like a boring spot. Go to a Pita Pit or a few other burrito spots around town, and they are bumping the tunes and the place feels lively.

I have lunch everyday at various restaurants around hamilton. This is by far my worst experience of bad tasteing food. I had the 3 Nashville Chicken Street Tacos and it was 🥶 cold and small. With only pickles and pickled betes as topping. I ate only one in a few bites and realized that it was not up to temperature. And the tortia was just taken out the bag and not warmed at all either. I quietly approached the who i think twas the owner. And whispered to him that the tacos are cold. He denied it and said that he just grilled it. I said well its still cold my friend. I asked if he could rewarm it and he said No. He made no effort to rectify the meal. So I quietly got my drink and left the 2 tacos on the table and walked out. 9.99 plus tax and drink and 1.10 tip.
