Year after year, the real Santa with the best photo packages in the Hamilton and Burlington area. ***HOWEVER… all of the family washrooms and change rooms for those with young kids are locked with nobody around to open them for you. Also, no signs or directions on who can open them. We could not find any custodians in the food court, and they were not in their custodian rooms. With the mall being overwhelmed with shoppers with kids, and Santa photos for a month straight, you would think they would have those open. I’m told that they are not open during the holiday season because homeless people sleep in there. However, I don’t think the answer is to have them all locked while the mall is overwhelmed with children and parents. Maybe ask security to check on their rounds as they can be seen all over socializing. Very disappointed.

My review of Eastgate square is based on its evolution of close to 50 years. I have watched it change many times and it has always been on a downward spiral. Eastgate was the place to go in the 70 s and 80 s and was a major shopping center with everything doing great business from Eaton's northward to Robinsons southward , Steak and burger to Loblaws which became Fortinos. With fountains and places to sit as you walk on the light brownish brick floor and even a Sunday flea market .Eastgate has devolved into a lifeless hull of fading stores and customers and will surely fade into a fleeting memory in the near future 😢 In closing, this review represents what Eastgate has become. Farewell

It was my first time coming here. We were looking for specific dresses and the first store did not have what we needed. We walked further in and we walked towards "Fashions Factory Direct". The gentlemen who worked there greeted us warmly. There were so many dresses to choose from but, we needed something specific. Hamid is so very kind and knowledgeable. He helped me to dress all of my daughters and he knew exactly what was needed. The prices are reasonable and the merchandise is absolutely beautiful. Hamid is the best. Thank you, Hamid for all of your help that day. I would highly recommend coming here. I will be back.

This is a great mall to visit if you’re looking for good deals and a convenient shopping experience. There’s a nice variety of stores here, especially when it comes to clothing and shoes — you can often find great discounts and seasonal sales that make it easy to update your wardrobe without breaking the bank. Whether you’re shopping for casual wear, work clothes, or footwear, there’s something for everyone.

One of the things I really appreciate about this mall is how accessible and convenient it is. There’s tons of parking, so you rarely have to worry about finding a spot, even during busy weekends or holiday seasons. The entrances are well laid out, and it’s easy to get in and out without too much traffic or confusion, which definitely adds to the overall positive experience.

The food court is another highlight — it’s quite large and offers a nice selection of both well-known franchises and local food options. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick snack or a full meal, there’s plenty to choose from, and there’s always ample seating available.

Another major plus is the bus terminal connected to the mall. It’s one of the larger ones in the city, and with frequent departures throughout the day, it’s super convenient for anyone relying on public transit. It makes the mall easily accessible for shoppers from nearby neighborhoods and even those coming from...

Good food and stores except for ez rides these people seem to think they don’t have to respect a customer and just say what you want to hear too get your money I was told my new bike would be ready in a week so I put down 1000 and a week later I whent to get the bike I was told to return in another week so I asked for my money back and I was threatened by staff that it would be in my best interest to leave the store then a week later a co owner or silent partner called and apologized to me for my experience and for the behaviour of his sales staff and gave me a discount for the bike and made sure it was ready for me to pick up finally it is my hope that this person has gotten through to his staff and not letting the m to be deceiving g and the. Getting pissy simply cause someone askes for their money back and hold them responsible for also lying about the situation trying to say I was out of control just cause I was upset for being lied to after already giving them a lot of cash down they didn’t even have the decency to call me so I didn’t have to travel all the way there for nothing they need to learn customer relations...

This mall is becoming like a ghost mall. Very quiet with hardly any shoppers. No wandering around anymore as they have all the seats roped off so if you're a senior or can only walk a little bit and need to sit down periodically, then you're out of luck. The entrance to Shoppers drug mart is closed in the mall, so wont be going there anymore (dont want to park twice). Fortinos still has too many barriers - I dont see the need anymore to be herded to a cash register by someone yelling "number 4" with a finger pointing while everything is roped off. Whatever you do dont try to cut through to use the washroom! Kudos to stores like Winners and Dollarama where they leave it to the customers discretion on how to shop. People get it now, we know the rules! So now if I have to get anything at Eastgate I just park where I can just pop in and out - usually at the Winners entrance. The added irritation is that the mall closes at 7 every day thru the week. I dont know how the businesses can make any money with those hours and hardly any customers. We're in stage 3 now, so smarten up Eastgate and start...
