My wife and I today on our way back from the West of Toronto had the pleasure of dining at a very authentic Lebanese restaurant called Bohemian Beirut in Hamilton, and I must say, the experience was exceptional. The moment we stepped inside, we were was greeted with warmth and hospitality by Mansour setting the tone for a fantastic meal.

We order 6 dishes - The food was, without a doubt, second to none. Each dish we ordered was expertly prepared, showcasing the rich flavors and aromas characteristic of Lebanese cuisine. From the tender, juicy meats to the flavorful spices and fresh ingredients, every bite was a delight. The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation was impressive. The Falafel were super delicious rich with green interior in the inside and very crispy on the outside.

What truly made our experience exceptional, however, was the service from Anna Maria and Mansour. The owners were incredibly accommodating, ensuring that every need was met and exceeded. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful recommendations and explanations.

Although I didn't specifically note the ambiance, the restaurant's warm atmosphere and inviting decor likely contributed to our overall satisfaction.

Based on our experience, we would highly recommend this Lebanese restaurant to anyone seeking authentic, delicious Middle Eastern cuisine in Hamilton. With its exceptional food, outstanding service, and welcoming atmosphere, it's an ideal spot for both casual meals and special. WE...

We attended for dinner at 5:00 pm on a Friday evening. There were 4 of us and our 14 mth old granddaughter. We were seated immediately in a wonderful table near the front window including a high chair for the wee one. Water was served and menus provided. We expressed our hopes that due to 2 of us w cealiac (GF options) were available and were assured all items aside from the complimentary bread were GF. From the time we were seated until completion of a wonderful meal only took about 60 minutes. The aforementioned bread was delicious, freshly baked sesame flatbread. Perfect for the two appetizers (hummus w Falafel, and an eggplant tomato onion combination that jumped off the plate with flavour). Our two shared mains were the Sunday in Beirut (chicken thighs) and Kaftan (minced beef skewers), both including potato and fresh salad. I always say the strength of a restaurant are in their service and sauces and they did not disappoint on either. The sauces are prepared with care and passion. Surroundings were energetic but not loud. The shared meal philosophy was bang on and we were all extremely sated by the size of the entrees. Pricing was very reasonable relative to the quality of our meal. Note no alcohol, which I believe enhances the experience, and has certainly not adversely affected the number of patrons, as tables were filling up when we left. Also note, no reservations are available. Great location, free parking after 6:00 pm and inexpensive metered during the day. We will...

A friend of mine suggested we meet here for a catch up dinner, mentioning it was a new spot in Dundas.

I was a little nervous, mostly because I wasn't the most familiar with Lebanese cuisine, but boy howdy I'm glad we went!

First off, the atmosphere of the place was amazing! The design was beautiful and it felt like I'd traveled half way around the world from Dundas. I really loved the eclectic, family-centric set up.

The menu was simple but effective, and I liked the little bits of humour on there. My friend and I opted to split a dinner platter and some hummus with falafel.

I hadn't really tried falafel before, but I liked this! It did have a slight spice to it, but (as someone with a low spice tolerance) it was very manageable and tasty! The hummus was served with this amazing bread that was nice and chewy and I really enjoyed it. The hummus was good too (though I think the bread and falafel were the stars for me)

We shared the Bar Bar platter, and the skewers were lovely! The chopped salad was delish, and the potatoes were wonderful. The pistachio-feta sauce on the potatoes was very lovely!

We also got some mint-lemon tea (with fresh mint!) and it was AMAZING! So fresh!

We also had the banana creme brulee for dessert, which was lovely! Very banana, not too sweet!

The staff were very kind and attentive, consistently checking in with us to make sure we were enjoying our meals.

Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and will...

Amazing! The food, the ambiance, the service…all Top-notch! While we were all perusing our menus, the owner came to our table with suggestions. He took our drink orders, and then suggested appetizers and mains for all 7 of us to share. We were all planning to order a meal and he could've let us do that and made a lot more money but instead he did what was best for first time diners here and he was spot on! I honestly don't know where to start… Cocktails were fantastic. Not your norm. I had the Antibes cocktail, someone had their Beirut Sour and someone else had their margarita. The others had beer or Persian tea which was served with a crystallized sugar stir stick. For starters we all shared the "Arak Mistress" which is eggplant based, one of the cauliflower appetizers… Not sure which one but we ended up with both and both were delicious, and a Big Daddy fried cabbage appie. For Main we shared "Sunday In Beirut" (charred chicken based), Kafta (minced beef skewers), and E-Man (fish based). Everything was so aromatic and flavorful. Then we had baklava for dessert with a nice ice cream that also tasted faintly a rosewater…in a very good way. I was literally planning my next visit as I was eating! I only managed to get a picture of my cocktail because once the food came… We dove in! Can't wait to go back!
