LAYOUT

I like the layout of this place but it can be quite confusing for someone new. I admit, I started going here a couple weeks ago and just found the bathrooms recently but I don't tend to stay long enough normally to require a trip to the bathroom so that could explain it. The bar area is at ground level where as the dinning area is up on a raised platform. The platformed areas have carpeting that have been there for decades and could use a change and the booth seats are cushioned like a couch but again have been there for decades and need a change. Despite being old it is quite comfortable to sink into them.

ATMOSHERE

The atmosphere is amazing, it is comfortable, relaxed and I feel at home when I walk in the door. It is nothing like The Collins and The Thirsty Cactus in the comfort aspect. I would recommend coming to experience this.

DECOR

The decorations here are basically everywhere, the walls are covered in pictures that will entertain you especially if you try to find all the Mr. Beans on the walls. There is a dividing wall between the bar section and the dinning section that houses other decorations and books that you can pick up and read. As for the selection of books, I can't say I have read them nor read their titles.

STAFF

Most of the staff has been friendly and funny when I've been here. You'll have to come in to form your own opinions because mine are biased since my sister is part of the staff. Ask for Sarah!

DRINKS ☆☆ HIGHLY RECOMMEND ☆☆

If you've been going anywhere else in Dundas for your drinks, then you have been throwing away your money. I used to go to other places for my drinks and I will tell you now, never again. At any other place I need to have 6 screwdrivers to feel slightly tipsy but here it takes 2. Go here, get drinks, relax.

FOOD

I'm not really a food critic but I can tell you the food is food here lol. Everything I've had has tasted good and smelt good. I've never had an issue. I've also only had like 3 different things so I can't really put out a...

The interior was nice. It was half priced wings, so we ordered a pop, a beer and 3 lbs of wings. We received our drinks no problem. When we got our wings, maybe 4of them had sauce on them, the rest nadda. So we ate the saucy wings and waited for the waitress to ask for more sauce, and a drink refill. After over 20 mins she finally came to our table, and no it wasn't very busy. Asked for a refill, and if we could have more sauce, which a few minutes later she did, in a small cup. Ate more wings that we had enough sauce for, and by this time they were colder than my beer. It's pushing 10pm there's still about a half dozen left, so we ask for a carry out. At first we're told no. The special isn't for carry out, if it was 2 or 3, no problem. Well there's 6 wings left, two of us that's three each. We did eventually get a carry out, with a reminder that if there is that many wings left next time, we will not be given one. I don't really see that being an issue since I don't think there will...

Tuesday night 1/2 price wings did not disappoint. We arrived just after 6 and it was pretty crowded, but staff were efficient, pleasant, personable, and attentive. Restaurant is dated, but love the pub vibe and how clean it was! Oh and wait..it's a restaurant and I should say something about the food ;)My son is a wing expert and he said these were the best...crispy and just dusted nicely He enjoyed the hot (2lbs) and I the honey garlic. We had to order a basket of fries 'cause they just go hand in hand with wings...okay maybe we should have order veggies but these fries were amazing fresh cut and absolutely no salt so you can season them to your personal liking.
