I want to say about Pizza Inferno on Upper Gage is that I am so disappointed and angry of the lack of proper hygiene when preparing customer's orders. I witnessed a employee working as a cashier and cooking and preparing the food with no hand washing and wearing gloves after cash was exchanged with a customer. I asked for a refund after I saw this and I told her that she is supposed to wash her hands and wear gloves, but she didn't and made up excuses and denials. Money is the dirtiest currency that you can handle because you can't wash money and it has been in so many people's hands so it carries lots of germ and bacteria. All I know is that there is a serious pandemic occurring called Corona Virus and the food industries like Pizza Inferno are to take more precaution and care than ever before and this store is not following proper cleaniness procedures. Until Pizza Inferno and others like that start taking their businesses more serious and follow health and safety measures to a T, I will not come to your establishment again and I will slow down ordering pizzas in person and start buying frozen pizzas instead. This is the second pizza store that I will not give my business and I will continually watch and call out this type of behaviour because this is about...
Read moreThis use to be our go to pizza place but over the last few months the quality and service has gone down hill. I’m not sure if they have new management or if they have just changed but after the last time dealing with them we will not be back.
I called and asked to place an order for 6 XL pizza for my sons birthday party. I mentioned they had a deal on their website but I was told they no longer use that website. The lady I was talking to said they can do something similar but it would cost a about $5 more. I said no problem but when she typed the order into her computer she gave me an amount that was over $30 more.
I asked her to go over the cost with and she agreed that her computer was different from what she originally said she would charge me but still asked me to pay the larger amount. When I said to just cancel the order she said she would honour the price she told me so I agreed to place the order.
When the delivery man came to my door he also argued with me about the price and what the computer said. He had a lot of attitude. I couldn’t believe it. How can you agree to a price with a customer and then argue with them and ask them to pay more.
This was our go to pizza place for well over 2 years but we will no longer be going...
Read moreI have nothing but amazing things to say about this place. It's my new go-to for pizza after moving to Hamilton. They really have one of the best, if not the best pizzas, in the city and is comparable to the best pizza joints in the GTA. They have many specialty pizzas, but my go-to is their special deal for an extra large with 3 toppings and 20 wings. For $40, it is a really good deal, but what's even more impressive is the actual food. And then there is the customer service. The owner Kalpit and his wife are really nice human beings and they genuinely care about customer service. They are there managing the place every day. I was driving by one time around 10:15 pm and saw their Open Sign still flashing and decided to stop by and pick up my usual. I went in and realized they were in the process of closing. They actually close at 10 pm. The owner told me to that he will make an exception and make my pizza and wings. He actually sent his 2 employees home and stayed back to make my food and then closed shop himself. Genuinely good people. And it deserves...
