We ordered 4 hamburgers and 1 blizzard from DAIRY QUEEN on Stone Church road, Hamilton, Ontario (via Skip the Dishes). The order was placed on Tuesday June 28, 2022 at 6:09 p.m. When we received the order, the bag was sealed.

My son was eating the hamburger and bit on something that hurt his mouth / teeth. He pulled out a thin sharp black metal object in the shape of a L (see attached picture). This object was very sharp on both ends (like a needle). If my son had swallowed this sharp metal, it could have caused great injury or killed him.

I tried to call Dairy Queen on Stone Church road, Hamilton well over 20 times, on several occasions, but no one answers the phone. The voice mail was full so I could not leave a message. This was an emergency that I would have liked to notify Dairy Queen about immediately. What if other people also got this in their meals.

I also left messages at the Burlington head office. They also do not respond. I wrote several online complaints, also to no avail. I called the international number for Dairy Queen and finally spoke to a person. They contacted Dairy Queen, Stone Church Rd, Hamilton. Then the dairy queen location finally contacted me. They asked me to send them a email with details, which I did.

I still have not heard back from Dairy Queen after sending them details. I don't understand why they are not taking this dangerous situation seriously.

So, today, I also notified Public Health Hamilton and copied Dairy Queen...

I will never go back to this location. Ive been going to this location for over 20 years because it's around the corner from where i live and this was the worst experience. I downloaded the app because we don't get paper coupons anymore for diary queen and I got an offer for half off any blizzard. I decided to use it and when I got to the window the girl said she needed the 5 digit code because they can't scan the barcode on the app. My phone wasn't giving me the 5 digit code and it shut down the app twice. I told the girl at the window and showed her the issue she said she can't do anything. I asked for her to give one of the blizzards half off she said she can't do that. I asked to speak to the manager and he said the same thing then he told me it's my phone problems not theirs that I couldn't give them the code. If every restaurant is using apps for coupons and deals and can scan this barcode , you guys should be able to as well. If not you should be giving your customers the deal. I'm super unimpressed and will never go back to...

Decided to go to Dairy Queen with my little ones (Thursday, March 23rd) yesterday! And WOW I love this Dairy Queen, they are quick and very attentive. The cashier Brianna brought my order to the table and provided all the right condiments on my tray. She noticed that I had forgotten to grab my straw for my shake and brought it for me instead of me having to go back to the counter to grab one. When I couldn’t decide on which blizzards me and my munchkins wanted She made some recommendations And told us to take our time, made me feel great To know that i wasn’t being rushed. When my kids didn’t know what topping to get on their ice creams, Brianna recommended sprinkles, it put a big smile on my kids faces. She was fast and made my blizzards quick! I’ve never seen such great manners and customer service skills in a person. Now that right there is a great employee! Brianna was very sweet and kind and.i hope she has an amazing day! Very great atmosphere! Because of her I will be coming back to...

Visited the Dairy Queen at Stonechurch and Upper Ottawa in Hamilton ON. Spent over $35n some treats for the family and very disappointed. The "chocolate extreme brownie blizzards" were the biggest let down. Aside from the soggy/flaky pieces of brownie, hardly no chocolate taste at all. We called and asked about the freshness of the brownie and were told the brownies arrived by shipment the day before. While we have no choice but to believe, nonetheless, the quality was lacking. My second comment is on the price of a mini blizzard. We are shocked they charge $4.19 for a blizzard that is so small-it's like 2.5" tall. This is ridiculous. We will not be back for some time. Lots of money and half the blizzards went straight in the trash.

Just received my delivery order and one of hamburgers had a sharp metal foreign object in it! It was very sharp and luckily my nephew felt it in his mouth and thank goodness he didn’t swallow it! We tried calling the restaurant numerous times but no one ever answers!! What are we supposed to do? Do I have to drive to the store?? NO customer service! I gave Dairy Queen a chance as I usually don’t order from them. Someone from DQ needs to do something about this!!! Had my nephew swallowed this metal foreign sharp object, it could have been a medical emergency!

I wanted to try the wraps and fries. And that I did. Sadly I was disappointed as the wraps hardly had any fillings. Mostly just the wrap. The chicken seemed fresh as I asked for fresh meat and fries. My critique would be to add enough lettuce and cheese in there. Try to spread out the ranch. As it was clumpy like eating clumps of dressing. There was not enough filling to dressing ratio. However The staff were friendly and polite. I did a drive thru so not sure about the inside of the store. They do have free parking and wheelchair access.
