Came out last night on Saturday night. Hang out with a few old friends for dinner and the leafs game. Staff was friendly. Are seats were ready and waiting for us as we made reservations. Are server was Hunter who was very nice. Well spoken. And respectful. The place was nice very busy. Lots of kids around which kind of surprised me. One it’s a roadhouse so I wasn’t expecting a lot of kids around. So I was being very mindful of my language. Lol. I ordered steak with mushrooms on it. With a side of angry fries and steamed broccoli. It was mah. Wasn’t horrible. The meat was lukewarm by the time it got to me. I’m assuming they made mine first and put it on the rack while they made the rest of the table food. So they could bring it all out at the same time. And the steak seemed a bit chewer then I expected. The boys made jokes “who orders steak at a roadhouse”. Lol. Lesson learned. Lol. Should of went with chicken parm. I did enjoy the angry fries that was tasty. Everyone seemed to enjoy there meals. It was good times. Too bad the leafs lost. That’s the only other thing I didn’t like. There TV set up is wired. You couldn’t really watch the came cause they had them in odd angles and out of the way. But whatever I barley watched the game as we were having too much fun in our conversations. Lol. At the end as we were leaving one of the boys forgot his wallet and phone behind. And one of the staff members came running out to get it back to us. That was really nice of them. Also side note. My phone was at 1 percent. And they were very accommodating for me to drop my phone off at there host table to get charged up wile we eat. Thanks for that Hunter. Overall it was a good experience and worth coming back to.
Update: so last Sunday I came up to watch a movie. Then dinner by my self. I ordered the steak again. And yep. I’m convinced who ever the chef is. Does not know how to make steak. This time the first steak was rubbery as hell. Couldn’t chew it. My server noticed this and said she would get a new steak. I was like ok. And the next steak was well done. When I like medium rare. So I was like ok just shut up and eat as much as you can. Lol. Rest of the night was fine. Went to the bar after and watched a bit of football before leaving home. But yah if you going to Kelly’s don’t order steak. They can’t make it. Try something else. I’m going up there this weekend agin for another movie. Going to try Montana’s next door. Hopefully they...
