I will start off by saying this is a review I didn’t really want to write but felt obligated to because of the reason I write reviews. I’m a local guide on goggle, soon to be a master reviewer lol whatever that means but I like to help others and make recommendations. I also strive to help establishments by voicing things maybe most wouldn’t but to help not degrade. In saying that I have to stay the course! The first time coming here was with my then girlfriend and my now wife many years ago. We were young and really loved the service and food when we attended. I come from an Italian background and was very impressed with everything! Its not a secret we eat well and know what’s what… Try the Zitti… Just sayin lol 🤌🏼. Kids came and everyone knows that story…. Fast forward to my wife’s 40th birthday we attended with her family recently. Service was verbally great, we remember the one lady who was and is still fabulous. Yes she’s Italian. She was great and answered any question we had easily. The usual… Great! Now let’s talk about where this went south. Timing… Took way to long to get drinks, the order was promptly taken but took awhile to come. After no one asked us once if we wanted another drink. I ordered a Cesar to start and was not asked if I wanted another drink the entire time. I just drank water. The food, it would have been excellent as usual but everyone in some way said their pasta was lukewarm if not cold. No one really wanted to ruin the birthday mood and be that person so no one really said anything until I found out after. Again, I had Ziti which is baked in the oven so I can’t compare. Everyone tried to enjoy their meal cold or not for the cause it seemed like but the cherry on top was no one came over for awhile after and we were all asking about desert. The end of the mission where I think everyone had enough was they sat people in the private room next to us that literally 1 foot away. We decided to get desert on the way home and eat it at our place with the family so we left. My dad grew up in this neighborhood and remembers this place. It’s obvious this is a great place as it’s been open/around so long. I’m hoping the feedback helps in the future and just makes it a better place. P.S. you have amazing garlic bread and it’s not on the menu? Is this a secret menu item? Pro tip for those who made it this far in the review lol. Salute!

My friend and I met up here for dinner last week based on her suggestion. The atmosphere was nice and the waitress was friendly and funny! For my appetizer, I ordered the Bruchetta (small) with the feta (feta is bettah). It was actually a large portion, in my opinion, and was very yummy! For my main I ordered the Fetuccinne con Pollo alla Fiorentina, the serving was huge and filled with chicken, mushrooms, spinach and plum tomatoes, I ate my fill and still has enough left over for a substantial lunch portion the next day!! For dessert, I had the Teramisu (the only dessert option available that night), and it was very decadent and delcious!! All items are pictured. Overall, I had an excellent eating experience at Macheroni Cucina Alfresco, and I look forward to returning and trying some of the other items on their menu! It is a perfect spot for a casual dinner with family/friends or a romantic date!

We gathered here as a group of 20 and by the looks of it I really think that this small restaurant can't comfortably accommodate any more. The tables are not spaced far enough apart to allow for access to your seat without disturbing others seated at adjacent tables. The service was friendly, but slow. Only one waitress that I saw. But the food was excellent. Home made Italian dining. Made from scratch. Funny though, for a place called Macaronis, you would think that atleast one item on the menu would be a macaroni dish... Mac and cheese or something... Earily missing... Lol... Nice bar, basic liquors. Great decor.

It's unfortunate to have to write this review, as the food was and always have been delicious every time I visit. Over the course of 5 years I've made many many visits, on romantic dates and friendly outings.

Tonight was the end to all that and I can't recommend anyone else to return. Food was still very decent but service was horrible. It's unusual considering I normally receive excellent service, and it looks like everyone else in the restaurant received good service tonight - exept my table.

We got our appetiziers and first drinks without trouble, but our server then disappeared. I saw her coming and going for other tables, walking right by us, but failed to ever stop or even check in on us.

Water glasses sat empty for almost an hour, while the table beside us who'd arrived only minutes earlier had gotten their appetizer, entree, paid and left. I requested multiple other servers for water before receiving any, and several times to receive dessert offerings.

Despite bringing all this up to the manager a resolution was not reached. I understand there being busy nights but understaffed, but there was no communication of this. Also it takes very little time to bring water from a tap. I did not request the server to go milk a cactus in the sahara desert, so to say.

No compensation nor real apology was offered. It saddens me to leave a place that I've had so many good memories in but the lack of management response in particular with the extemely subpar service has left the worst taste...

We group of 4 visited the restaurant in the weekend to have italian food . We went there after seeing the good reviews. As soon as we entered we were greeted from our server and head to our table . Server was really nice and friendly . But the vibe inside the restaurant is off , it wasnt giving italian restaurant feeling Then we ordered food Appetizer - bruschetta it was okay 3/5 For Main course ask the server that we were looking for red sauce pasta , because from the menu you cant even see any “sauce” pasta She suggested one pasta that we ordered and it was the worst pasta we ever tried . we ordered 2 pizza 1) margaritas (classic you cant go wrong if you are in an italian restaurant 2) build your own pizza (we chose veg pizza) Really disappointed from both pizza Margarita pizza was no where near to margarita and the second veg pizza we couldn’t even chew properly.

The other server (elderly lady) asked how the food was and if we need takeout boxes because she clearly saw we didnt eat anything not pasta not pizza . And I explained that food was really not good and what was the problem She blamed that the pasta we ordered doesnt come with red sauce and didnt really care to ask if she can write off pizza or pasta from the bill . Total was 140$ including 2 beers and 2 non alcoholic soda water . Didnt serve the water or asked for the water

It was totally waist of our money and time . We have tried so mang italian restaurant and never had this...
