I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mist Lounge in Ancaster, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the elegant and modern ambiance—soft lighting, stylish decor, and a warm, welcoming vibe.

The menu is a fusion of Middle Eastern and international flavors, and every dish we tried was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The Ribeye Steak was an absolute standout—perfectly cooked to a tender, juicy finish with just the right amount of seasoning. To finish off the evening, we indulged in Cheesecake and Baklava for dessert. The cheesecake was velvety smooth with a perfect graham cracker crust, while the baklava was flaky, sweet, and delightfully sticky—an absolute treat!

The Latina waitress was very sweet and nice! The asian waitress helper lady was very rude. They brought out our food, one meal at a time and ten minutes in between. There’s 6 of us so I think it’s obvious we all want to eat at the same time. I spoke in a gentle and kind tone, just explaining the situation and requesting that we can return our food so they can keep it warm, and hold everything until all 6 meals are ready and serve at the same time. I’ve worked many customer services roles before and two restaurant gigs before. The code is “the customer is always right”. Now I don’t need anyone feeding my ego, no fake apologies, it’s all good it’s not that serious. But the asian lady’s response is immediately “well you didn’t ask that before” with a disgruntled tone. I just told her, that’s fine but that’s why I’m requesting it now. My boyfriend chimed in asking that they just keep the food already served warm for us and she responded with “i’ll try” in a judgy tone. There’s honestly no need for that, we weren’t complaining or starting drama but she definitely was. If the owners see this, this is not the gig for the asian woman. She’s running the environment and aesthetic of your rather lovely restaurant. Also, the food was great quality! Just doesn’t necessarily fit the greek flavour with the exception of the lamp chops. The one indian server also barely knew english which I feel for her, glad she’s trying but it isn’t very ideal when trying to communicate. I went here based on their reviews.
