Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Hamilton

Very overpriced pizza (I paid $20 for a medium/large 8 slice 14” pizza). Toppings were sparse. The jalapeño pepper in the box looked like it had a bite out of it? Or it was broken! And you charge $10 for chicken tenders? Are you kidding me! In my opinion, they are not chicken tenders, they are popcorn balls! I just paid $10 for 10 small popcorn chicken balls, topped with some funky ketchup on top!! So not worth it!!

And the customer service! Don’t even get me started!! I had an Online order via the App. Arrived on time to pick it up, and unfortunately your only staff member was on the phone. I waited.

He ended his call, quickly hung up, and said to me “just wait”! I could see my order, with my name, just sitting there. He dashed back to the kitchen to get something out of the oven. He cut it, packaged it up and gave it to the guy waiting behind me?? In total- I waited at least 5 minutes for my order.

He finally looks at me and acknowledges me. I tell him it’s an online order. He grabs my box and says “ Here you go!”… and rushes back to the kitchen.

If your Saturday nights are busy…. Perhaps 2 -3 staff members...

I went to this location today to try a Papa John’s Pizza. I had a coupon for a large 4 topping. I requested thin crust, light sauce and DID not request well done. This pizza hardly had the regular amount of pepperoni on it as it shows on their menu let alone double pepperoni as requested. There were very small amounts of mushroom and bacon as well. Anyone can see in the attached photos that the toppings are very sparse and the pizza is overcooked. Needless to say, I am NOT IMPRESSED with the quality or customer satisfaction that this place promises. I have tried to upload photos without success. It seems this site makes it difficult. I will attempt to add photos because a picture is worth a thousand words for all to see. The cheaper chain pizzas are far better than this pizza. Today May 4, I was able to add the photo of the pizza ordered with double pepperoni. Anyone can see there is not even regular amounts of pepperoni given by other pizza stores on this pizza, let alone double....

I would like to give some constructive criticism: I have been noticing that the quality of product and service has go e downhill (I suspect there has been a change in ownership). Pizzas are not ready when indicated, pizzas are not being cut properly (cut through) and when I ask to pay cash, there is never enough money in the till to provide change. On the last visit, I stated my name and the employee insisted they did not have the order. Having ordered through the website I knew this to be false. I had to insist over and over only for them to realize the pizza was in the oven with my box and name clearly printed on the sticker.

I would ask that the owner really tighten up standards and expectations with Employees. If anyone in Corporate see this, I would highly recommend you demand changes so that this store doesn’t further tarnish the brand.
