My wife and I ate at this restaurant for the very first time On May 4 at 2 PM we ordered three different entrées to share, asked our waitress for extra plates. She was very rude to my wife and I throat. Our whole meal would just walk up with an expression of discussed and worry, and when I talk to her to figure out what was going on she told me to relax she brought over a knife, spoon, and fork for my wife for me. She brought me a fork wrapped up very strange we had to ask for water three times I asked for a knife so I could cut some of my large vegetables and calamari just unbelievably rude. Left us stomping your feet practically and never came back to give me my butter knife to cut my food. I had to go up and get it and then I noticed my wife didn’t have any thing to drink so we asked for water. She was so rude to my wife. My wife asked her for three container so we could put our leftovers in and take it home. She replied to my wife well, I just asked you if you would like anything with a high voice angry, just absolutely insane. I’m thinking maybe if I texted her she would understand better but boy your employees need some training need to be more polite. I’m in my 60s and my wife is also in her 60s. We didn’t come here to be treated like that first time The food was OK but I won’t be back because of this and I’ll be sure to tell all my friends how you treated us I would not recommend this place to anybody. I’m gonna stick to Pothos in Ancaster#. The food is much better there the service is wonderful. She was so unbelievably rude to my wife and I just destroyed our meal disgusting. I left her tip. I shouldn’t have so condescending need to train your stuff better that girl should be fired. If you want to keep your business. The other gentleman sitting beside me, came and sat down said to her I overheard the conversation I know what I want. She turned her back on him and walked away, and he said well I guess not and he looked at me he said something to me and I said yeah you better get used to it with her. I guess she got up on the wrong side of the bed. Customer service is out the window at this...

I’ve been visiting this location since I was a high school student in 2009. From then, until now, the food has been consistently delicious. After my hundreds of visits in the past 14 years, I truly cannot think of 1 negative experience.
From their appetizing menu, I usually get the 510 (rice noodles, chicken, shrimp and vegetables). The flavours are unmatched, and the broccoli is to die for. They are also so kind to substitute the bok choy for extra broccoli, making me the happiest camper ever (** it’s also important to note that I did not love broccoli before this place lol). I also recommend their vegetable spring rolls, so yummy and crispy! All of their spring rolls are delicious, but I have never had better veggie spring rolls. During my visit yesterday, they somehow tasted the best they’ve ever tasted, which I didn’t even think was possible!
I also commend their professional customer service. They are very switched on, diligently making sure that the diners have everything they need, while thoroughly tending to any request made. I also love that it’s family run! Daughter, husband, son, father and mother all together, ensuring that everything is running well, and that everyone is satisfied. On top of the great food, the people are amazing too, and it’s somewhere I love to bring my family and friends to.
After so many great experiences and wonderful memories, I have grown serious love for this restaurant, its staff and their owners. I hope this place can stay open forever and ever, and can continue being the East-End Gem that it is. ❤️
P.S. they have real sriracha sauce!!! None of that knock-off stuff. I was so pleased to be able to buy a bottle off...
Read moreI've been visiting for years and have to say post pandemic I don't know what happened to this place.
It used to be known for great quality food, hospitality, and service.
My partner and I visited the other day and to honest I didn't recognize the place.
waitress didn't even say hello. Didn't check on us once to see if there was anything else we needed. We ordered drinks that we never received.
the food was more noodles than there was anything else. Before the bowls would be loaded with beef/chicken, and veggies, and the emphasis wasn't too much on the noodles. This time the bowl was 90% noodles. Paying close to $40 for two medium bowls of noodles was kind of sad.
Resteraunts have been cutting corners due to rising costs; at this point if you have to raise the prices more if you have to but continue the service to everyone in the east end has been coming to for years. I hope one day this place comes back to what...
