New York Fries - Eastgate Mall — Restaurant in Hamilton

Food was awesome and tasted great! Unfortunately the manager there is very rude and ignorant. My spouse ordered a bacon poutine and realized as it was being made that it included a lot of cheese so she apologized and asked if it could be remade with gravy instead. The manager there got aggressive and annoyed with us stating that it was wasteful to remake the food. this was after we had already paid at the beginning. She would not let us speak when we brought up her tone and eventually it got to the point of a bad fast food experience. We asked her for her name so we can write a review and she refuses to provide one. We tried explaining to her that my spouse was lactose and was not ready for that much cheese. We attempted to explain that it was a miscommunication but the manager stated she did not want to hear what we had to say and that we were lucky we got it remade. Very bad experience with this manager who claims to have no name. Furthermore I would just like it to be known that the food was thrown out by this manager which we did not like to see. The food could have been given to another customer or even to a employee but being wasteful was not our intention and to see the way she threw the food out in front of us like we made her...

Today, after my first visit to this place, a mistake occurred that could happen in any other store. I had asked the girl at the cashier for a large plate of potatoes, but she gave me a large plate of poutine... and I did not like it. I returned to her and asked from her with all respect and told her that she had made a mistake in ordering with me. But what was surprising was her bad response to me, as she told me at first that I should take it, and then she got angry at me and started screaming, if you don’t want to take it, we will put it in the trash.Then she forcefully threw it into the trash and gave me another plate of potatoes, which was large and worth mentioning. I went today at 8:40 PM to quickly pick up large fries and a side of gravy. The lady first of all looked and ignored me as she was in the back doing dishes but that is the first time I have seen in the food business that someone would just ignore the customer. I got her attention by saying excuse me 2 times as she ignored me the first time.
