Saturday May 11th, 2024 Live about 25 minutes away, Caistor centre direction. Family had a craving for Pita Pit. Checked on Google to see what time it closes on Saturdays, Google listing shows it closing at 10pm. It was 830pm when we left home, arrived at the Stone Church location exactly at 9pm. When we arrived, the store lights were all on, everything appeared to be fine. Approached the doors and noticed two staff members behind the counter, working on something. Tried the door, but it was locked. Both staff members looked up at the door, I motioned towards my watch as if to tell them, why are you locked up an hour early? Both staff members completely ignored my presence. Looked at the sign on the door which shows the closing time as 9pm. Irritating to say the least, drive 30 mins for nothing based on the information the location provides to google. Returned to the car and while sitting there looking for somewhere else to eat, two other groups of people showed up to try the door. I asked them if they also checked Google for the closing time and they had. They also were pretty pissed and said they'd be leaving a review as well. As you can see from the screenshot, closing time on Saturdays are supposed to be 10pm. If you want customers to choose your business, the first thing would be to get something as simple as operating hours correct.

I would give less than one star but I do not see this option. Tonight we ordered a pita and it looked as if it was made from garbage scraps. A deflated ripped up pita is what we received. This young kid (male) working Tonight around 8pm was less than enthused to be at work and provided poor service and terrible quality of food. Not impressed one bit by the standards of a franchise where we paid $16 and change for 2 small pitas which one had about a pinch of lettuce and the other looked somewhat normal in size. This kid should take a little pride in his day to day work. I don't expect anything to be done about this but here is a review for those who are interested. It's funny how you can walk into a franchise in one location and have a wonderful experience and good food and then walk into another and never want to return again.

I'm feeling disappointed. I went to Pita Pit because they have gluten free options. I ordered the Chicken Ceaser and as you can clearly see by the photo it has bacon on it. Mine did not, even after I specifically asked if the meat had been put on the pita (I didn't see the grill person put it on) and I was reassured it had. The gluten pita was ok, not great.

Edit: the small portions of cheese/ toppings seems to be a point of contention mentioned by others in the reviews. Save yourself the hassle don’t bother with this location. Their incredibly stingy with portions and it seems to be a consistent issue with others at this one location. To the owners; you will lose more customers and profits with this way of operating green you ever would by attempting to save money cutting cost by Giving paying customers next to nothing. I repeat. Do not bother with this terrible location. Upper James is way better. Never have had so many issues with a pita pit. 0/10

Super slow service, staff seemed like they had no clue what they where doing. incredibly small amounts given of toppings for a 15$ pita. Even after paying extra for more cheese the portion added was minuscule. Personally have not experienced this at any location. And for that reason I will not be returning to this specific location and I suggest you don’t either. If the pita is 15$ you should have to pay extra on top of a quite pricy solo lunch; to get a smidgen more of cheese to make your meal adequate. Genuinely disappointing.

This is the only location that takes that long to take orders and prepare food. I’ve been to pita pita with only two workers and it’s never taken that long. Was approximately 15 minute wait with two people in front of us.

Again. Will not be returning. Incredibly frustrating experience. Incredibly slow staff. Would give zero stars...

It was a bad experience. First I ordered small size Pita ..got Large and was charged for large. Then when they are making Pita they are laughing and carrying on. Not listening to me what I want on it. The girl screwed up the order in front of ours and they are all trying to fix it instead of making new one because of the gigantic hole . I wanted mine toasted and they had left his in too long. Heaven knows what they did about that. But mine came out of the grill and sat there while again 3 of them screwed around with this other guys order. So mine got coldI sat and ate in restaurant and watched how unprofessional these girls were. 4 of them in total. Too bad they don't have name tags so I could report them all! I brought someone in with me to eat and it was her first time...needless to say she won't be back. This was Saturday mid afternoon. Get someone in there who knows how to be professional instead of these young people with no supervision!!!! Will be calling Pita pit when...
