Pizza Pizza — Restaurant in Hamilton

This location has slowly been declining since new people have taken over. But today is the last day I buy from here. I walked in to get a panzarotti and slice to bring to work,I said I didnt need it heated up cuz they were going to be eaten later. I asked the guy to cut it in half, he proceeded to cut it in 4. He handed to me and looked oddly flat, I opened it up to see if it was what I ordered, to find theres next to no toppings inside of it, I mentioned it to the guy and on top of already being short with me, he gave me some half assed excuse that heating it up will fix it (?!?!?). I told him I also worked the the business years ago and that what hes doing is wrong, he kept quiet after that. I was going to refuse it but decided to take it anyway so I can make this review and take pictures of the proof. Gave me the wrong chips for my combo, and just didnt give me the combo price. after pausing for a moment looking at the screen and doing the math in my head he noticed I wasn't paying immediately,he did correct it, but not before i got suspicious. Its the last time...

Like w few others I've noticed here, I too have one of those jobs that leaves me scouring my neighborhood at 12am in search of food...so it's nice to see a place open late---like 3am late on some nights.

I do like the pizza & get slices sometimes, but selection can be sparse near closing and I wouldn't want to bother anyone to make a whole pizza just so I can get a slice, (what a waste!) so my other favourite is the chicken sandwich with creamy garlic sauce.

The chicken is nice and tender, it's a perfect amount for a late dinner and I'm always left wishing I ordered 2 but knowing I couldn't actually eat both haha!

And yes, the night staff are always nice and in a good mood especially considering the late hours they work. I've always found the place to be tidy and well kept, and they get crazy busy sometimes.

One of the better after midnight food choices in the city and only around $10 for a couple slices or the delicious chicken sandwich im so fond of.

Also beer---yes they have beer and it's surprisingly...

Came in the other day for a large pepperoni, and it was so tasty, just like always! Pizza Pizza is now my go-to place for pizza, me and my wife order from here almost every week now! The pizza is always tasty and they always get my order right, as opposed to some of their competitors, the accuracy in their orders is usually like 50% if we're being honest.

The servers and people behind the counter are always so kind, but especially Joanne! We are always served with a smile and patience, because we like to try various things. In specific, Joanne is always so kind and patient with us, and gives us fantastic recommendations! She is the pure reason me and my wife are going above and beyond and writing this lengthy review, because she WOW's us every time we come in with such good service. A++ service and delicious food...
