Pizza Pizza — Restaurant in Hamilton

The reception was on point, I was acknowledged and greeted as soon as I entered the restaurant.

Initially quoted me the incorrect price for an item and suggested I was referring to a previously available now inactive promotion.

However after politely and briefly reassuring the young gentleman with details and time frames further elaborating of my awareness regarding the menu item and price info. He eventually confirmed my info to be correct and acknowledged his error.

When I received my order the pizza box was opened for my viewing. I couldn't help but notice what quickly seemed to be a party size box with a pizza that looked much smaller then I've ever seen or received when ordering before.

I wasn't able to wait for another to be made. Also very near closing time. And I don't like any level of potential conflict. Personally don't feel comfortable or confident in people and their handling of my food after I've initially disproved of the first attempted order.

The pizza was definitely smaller then intended. If a small size pizza had separately been added to the Party pizza size I order it would have made up for the portion that mysteriously was none existent. As well as the pizza was abnormally extremely thin and cut Disproportionately. Having no other food options at the time, the pizza was consumed. What little of it was there to eat tasted better then it looked but I was very unimpressed and by no means got my money's worth. Rude staff, terrible service. I attempted to order a chipotle chicken pizza, only to be asked “what toppings do you want, other than Chipotle chicken”. I simply stated “the toppings that already come on that specific pizza are fine” the man didn’t understand that there was a chipotle pizza on THEIR menu, and was trying to build my pizza as a Make your own instead, costing me more money. I tried again to explain that I just wanted the chipotle pizza that was already on their menu, and he again, didn’t know that they had that pizza on THEIR menu. So he sighed very rudely at me rolled his eyes, before getting another worker to come over and take my order. So I say “ I want a chipotle chicken pizza” and by this point I had looked up to toppings as they didn’t know themselves what was on it, I begin to state the toppings. He then rolls his eyes at me and goes “I already know what’s on that pizza” in a quick and snappy tone. Before walking aggressively away from the cash, not letting me know my wait time. My wife and I placed an online order for pickup at this location. One pizza was ordered with chorizo and cilantro and the other was to have ground beef, feta and balsamic vinegar.

When we went to pick up the pizza, my wife noticed that it had no cilantro on it. The attendant claimed that they did not have that ingredient in stock, so they just left it off, but still charged us for it. After arguing with her, she gave us two dipping sauces for compensation. We then asked to order two Brios. They were out of these as well and offered us root beer instead.

When we got home and began to eat the pizzas, we noticed that they didn't put on the balsamic vinegar that we ordered. After this, we called the Pizza Pizza hotline and told them about this unacceptable service breakdown. They gave us a $4.50 credit and hurried us off the phone.

We will not be using this $4.50 credit and not be ordering from Pizza Pizza again. Pizza Pizza is a franchise and quality of service and stocked items should be consistent over...
