You are lucky you have your give at least 1 star. I ordered Popeyes online through their website and they charged me 5 times. (Upper wentworth and fennell Hamilton Ontario-550 fennell aveune). I called the store and all they could say was itâs not my problem. I then called my bank and they are handling it. My bank said you need to go to the store and see if they will at least give you, your original meal or a credit. I went into to the store and explained what happened. There was 6 people in the store. I was not yelling and I did not get frustrated I am trained different, as I too work in customer service. When I explained what happened they just asked what do you want us to do about it. I said who do you speak with for these types of issues. They said manager I said please call the manager forward, he is not here. I said call him please. The manager said I am off the clock I will call you tomorrow at 11 am. I said I am at work those times I cannot answer my phone. He said oh well, I am not in. The employees were very worried about how this would look, but did not even compensate me with my original meal. My bank was on the phone and heard this and said they will open a dispute and will manage this. The employees kept kicking me out the store. Another customer said wow, she is a lot nicer than me there service is so terrible I am leaving. Followed behind was 2 others. I asked the employees what time does the manger finish, they said 5 pm. I said I am still at work at that time. So how do we rectify this. They said please leave.
This was the worst experience of customer service I have ever seen. I also tried to go online to their customer service website to let them know of the issue and every time you enter you charged me twice it kicks you out the system and starts over. I showed employees this. They were shocked. I said please tell your manager I will be calling tomorrow as I will not be able to come in during his hours and I left. This store needs all new training in customer service. I can understand you cannot give me my money back, but you could have at least given me my meal, and been more pleasant...
Read moreKim and I were both craving some chicken wings for lunch and couldnât figure out where to go. Then she mentioned Popeyes chicken which neither of us had ever tried. We decided to go for it. Parking was easy to find at the convenient side lot. We were really hungry so we were not willing to stand and read the menu. We asked the cashier what she would recommend for our lunch and she said that âthe chicken on a bun was the daily special, and was really delicious.â I decided to order it with fries and diet cola, so Kim did the same. It came to $10.00 and change each, which we gladly paid at the till. We had to wait about ten minutes in the small but clean and comfortable dining area till she called out our order number, then we could go back to the till and collect our food on a tray. The food was really hot and wrapped in a kind of paper. We couldnât wait to dive into it. The food came with packets of ketchup and hot sauce. We peeled back the wrapper to find a lovely golden bun that covered a large breaded chicken breast that appeared to have been deep fried until it was golden brown and crispy. Toppings like a tomato slice, mayonnaise and lettuce were present. We couldnât wait to analyze it so we ate it. It really was solid white chicken meat and really delicious. The chicken coating is still a trade secret, which is light and crispy. The French fries also had a lovely delicate coating that spiced them up. Altogether we had a really lovely, delicious meal that we both agreed we would probably try again. We disposed of our garbage at the receptacle and stacked our tray . Then we waved and said âgoodbye âon our way out the door. The service was friendly and courteous and waved and said âgoodbye â. The meal was not what we were looking for but it definitely met the need. Thank you so very much Popeyes for helping to meet our extreme need for food today. It was really appreciated...
Read moreI visited this location today, not 10 minutes ago for lunch. It was around 2:50 pm. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich combo and a single piece of bone in mild white meat chicken as I had not tried your bone in chicken and its something I enjoy. While waiting for my food I observed the chicken situation. Which was a small amount of spicy chicken and a piled high mountain of Mild. About a foot or more higher than the stainless counter housing the bin. I watched my server picking and flipping over pieces struggling to find white meat. She started digging through the pile for several minutes until settling on the smallest piece of bone in chicken I've ever seen. I accepted my order and went to my car to eat.
I started with the bone in as I was very curious how it would be, although mildly irritated by the small portion I wasn't that put off because it was just to see how I liked it. To my immediate surprise when I picked up the chicken it was stone cold. I took a bite to ensure it wasn't just my hands but through and through this chicken was colder than room temperature.
Obviously this makes for a serious concern, as your employees have cooked far too much chicken, and only the top layer is staying at a safe temperature, with layers underneath at bacterial growth temperatures, furthermore they are going to sell through the hot chicken, and move on to the old and reheating unsafe chicken, likely for the next 4 hours or more from the small amount of customers I've watched come in and purchase the mild chicken while I ate and wrote this review.
I will be forwarding this review to your...
