Food and service that will leave you satisfied. Where do I even start!! They provide variety of Indian food items throughout the week, which not only tastes delicious but also leaves you pretty satisfied. I have recently moved to Hamilton from BC and was looking for a decent home cooked meal delivery service. Having ate tiffins previously in Vancouver (which tasted the same everyday), I didn’t have much expectations, but to my surprise I found this gem. Their regular meal includes 5 rotis, a small serving of a sabzi, serving of legumes, big container of daal/kadhi and rice. This is enough to last as lunch and dinner (at least for me). What I truly love about these guys is that they also offer specialties occasionally such as Daal Bati, Khichu, Daabeli, Vadapav which satiates your tastebuds of trying something different. At last, I would highly like to point out the most important aspect - Customer Service! Vishal bhai is gem of a person, who cares more about customer service than money. I was on my weekly trial at the beginning and I had to ask him 2-3 times to give me his email id to Interact the money (this was after he delivered 2-3 meals to my place). He was also flexible enough to cater to my custom meal requests. To any Gujarati reading this, if you remember “Rasikbhai Raso” chapter from our Gujarati language book of Grade 8, this will get as close to it in real life...

I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying Indian food for over 30 years, and I can confidently say that the meal I had at Biryani on the Mountain ranks among the best. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole dining experience feel personal and warm. The food was nothing short of amazing, flavourful, fresh, and made with high quality ingredients. The meats were cooked to perfection, offering an array of spices that danced on my palate. The garlic naan was divine so soft and full of flavour, I could have eaten it all day.
My only minor critique would be the size of the chicken in the dish, it could have been cut into smaller pieces to make it easier to enjoy with the naan, but that’s a small detail in an otherwise exceptional meal.
Although Biryani on the Mountain is primarily a takeout spot, they do have a few tables and chairs that can accommodate up to three tables and 11 chairs, perfect for a quick bite in a cozy setting. There’s also a bathroom on site, which adds to the convenience.
Whether you’re sitting down for a meal or taking it to go, this place is a gem for anyone craving authentic Indian flavours. Highly recommend! The staff so friendly and welcoming. Lucky the owner makes it’s an...
Read moreThe blandest biryani ever. Ordered food from here on UberEats and the "biryani" is nothing more than colorful rice and one big piece of chicken. The chicken had not taste with just color on it and rice was not even cooked properly. I don’t know how this restaurant have courage to call them Biryani on mountain. I never had such tasteless biryani in my whole life. I have tried food from all restaurants in Hamilton and I would say even minus rating is more for this restaurant. One should keep 100 km distance if you are ordering food from this place
You should not sell such biryani and call kit biryani rather just say half boiled rice with one tasteless chicken leg piece.
You should call yourself a restaurant. I can cook better than this and I can bet you. You should close your restaurant rather than serving such food. You are giving buy one get 1 offer to attract people but your food taste pathetic.
I encourage read this comment before investing your money
