Updated review (March 2025) Went in today to order myself a mango/dragon refresher & was greeted with a huge smile. Not sure if management has changed since they first opened but I was super comfortable this time round and appreciated all of the help I was given ordering tonight. Allison was my Barista. We had trouble with my Starbucks account but she still managed to still help me and made sure I got the drink I had requested. If she continues to work there, I would gladly return again. Her extra efforts were very much appreciated especially after a very very challenging day at work. Thank you! 🙏🏽
(Review from 2022--1 star) Very snobbish and intimidating place to walk into. Unfriendly service and not at all worth the money. Quality of food and beverages was great but not somewhere I would go without someone who is knowledgeable.
I had such a horrific first time experience yesterday evening. For the amount of money you pay for your tea, coffee or baked goods I expected better service. Never have I ever ordered Starbucks on my own. I find the place to be stuffy and intimidating. I decided to brave a visit as a friend of mine was home from hospital & deserved a treat. I learned to load my Starbucks gift cards & thought if I get stuck the person on cash would understand that I was a first timer (as I told her ahead of time) & be patient. I didn't go through drive-thru because the line up was long and blocked traffic. I even had to go as far as unbuckling my nephew out of his car seat & mask him to go in. Not only did she sound condescending when serving me but she also seemed to give off a "you should know" vibe. I felt very embarrassed and will never go to this location again on my own.
I also noticed that as everyone else was asked their names for their drinks and food I was served as if I was a local coffee shop-- generic and unappreciated. I understand that I am only one of very many customers so losing me probably isn't a big deal but I have to tell you that feeling intimidated and overwhelmed was what I felt when I first went in and I left with an uneasy feeling that I was being judged. Very...
Read moreThe Cashier refused to accept my cash and provide me with $16.34 of change. When I handed him the cash, he sarcasticly said 'do you want your change all in nickles and dimes?' I thought he was joking, and referring to loonies and twonies and I said that was fine. He looked at me with disgust and said 'no your going to get your change in nickles and dimes'. Excuse me?? This is how you speak to your regular customers!!?? This is rude and ignorant. I said to him ' you don't have 3 $5 bills in your cash? Why don't you open it and see. He refused to open it and basically forced my hand to use my debit card. This was very upsetting because I take a certain amount of cash out of the bank machine each month, so I can try to budget my daughters star buks visits, otherwise, I can't keep track of the amount I am spending. Here is the worst part, he basically throws Starbuks under the bus and said it is a policy. I just contacted Starbuks and they said they don't have that policy, it is up to the individual location. Too bad he didn't recognize us, I've used cash there every single time. I won't be returning to this location. He should NOT be working in ANY service position. He is very sarcastic, very rude, and wanted to stand off with a regular customer over $15 of change. He had it in his cash register, and he didn't want to do it. He wanted to be difficult and to upset a customer and for that, I won't be going...
Read moreI was servedat assume 8 pm Tuesday....last night by a young lady with blonde hair in a braid and glasses maybe a face piercing can't recall and didn't see a name. She was very kind patient friendly.... she didn't have an elitist attitude that some baristas often do.
I have a very specific order with ten shots of brown sugar and ice on the side... basically get the eye roll inwardly feeling from the cashier alot of times.... but not here and maybe the exact opposite. I was not judged and did not feel like I was interrupting a social clique at high school... if only I could make my own at home that's how much I would like to avoid my counter experience normally it's just something to suffer through in order to get my perfect cup of coffee; I've even created my own brown sugar syrup blend at home but of course it's just not the same...
She got my order in perfectly and even offered a sample of pumpkin loaf which was a nice ending to a very hard day. I shared it with my Rottweiler at home..... she's basically a big baby and who was over the moon so you made 2 souls very happy today. Thank you miss. You have a very important job... spreading happiness healing hard days and giving out gifts from the universe to reaffirm faith. Never underestimate the effect you have on any seemingly ordinary day. God...
