I am not normally one to leave reviews. Good or bad. However our experience at this sunset grill was just beyond disappointing. When we arrived we were told to sit anywhere. After roughly 10 minutes of sitting there my aunt went and got menus from the front. A server came and took our drink order and returned promptly with our tea and coffee. However 25 minutes later we asked if we could order our food. The server said sure went and talked to the other server first and then came back and took our order. Our food took 20 minutes (with only 7 tables in the restaurant all of which were 2 people and 4 of those tables were already eating not sure why it took so long) my aunt order the sunset super and it was good. I ordered the breakfast poutine which I have had before and it came swimming in oil. At this point my aunt and I were beyond frustrated so I ate around the oil as best as I could. Over all just a disappointing visit.

This is our third time at this Sunset Grill. This experience was worth sharing. We tried a bunch of things, The coffee was basic but hot and regilled multiple times. The boys loved the hot chocolate. Even the hot water came with a lemon slice—small detail, big energy. Eggs over easy? Perfect. Somebody back there knows their way around a skillet. The hash and French toast? Serviceable, not memorable. But the Cinnabon pancakes—holy hell. Crispy edges, sweet swirls, no syrup needed. That’s the kind of dish that keeps you coming back. Service was warm and fast. Bathrooms clean, stocked with paper towels—which these days, is a luxury. Bottom line: not fancy, not trying to be—just good food, good people, and a killer pancake. We’ll be back.

CORPORATE GREED AT WORK. Nice colors and great looking place with a slick looking menu that consistently fails to deliver. Reading the descriptions on the menu - you conjure up a mouthwatering breakfast BUT you are in for a nasty surprise as the food is below average. Half cooked potatoes and cold eggs. EXAMPLE: This place advertises "Add fried onions for $1.99". I DID. And instead of sliced Caramelized or actually "fried:" onions got a spoon full of y diced yellow onions barely fried. Cheese and spinach in egg Benedict was barely visible. Felt absolutely cheated. Called it out and the waitress added a 15% discount AND took off a coffee. (badically wrote off the HST). Not going back here unless very very desperate.

5 stars for great waiter' polite and very prompt ' young man.

My partner and I were in the area for business ' we decided to stop in this establishment to have a late breakfast!

I was very disappointed with the amount of grease in the home fries and the omelet. At first I had requested a poached egg and we were informed that they turn their water off ' We both were quite superised as to why any food establishment would turn water off at 2 pm in the afternoon ' since they are serving all day breakfast I ended up ordering the western egg sandwich It didn't come as a sandwich ' it was an over size omelet with chewy chunks of ham ' the ham was awful . Hardly no onions The toast came separately and that tasted stale.

I was married to a 5 star chef and had the pleasure of eating in 5 star restaurants. I know a good chef when I taste their food

If this business wants to survive they must help their cook to have a better understanding of Canadiam food Especially something as easy as an omelet.

I will not recommend this establishment to my friends...

Certainly, here's a version that strikes a balance between casual and formal:

Title: "Balanced Brilliance at Sunset Grill"

So we recently checked out this Sunset Grill location, and let me tell you, it was everything we hoped for. Known for its top-notch food and laid-back vibe, this spot lived up to the expectations.

Our server, Manuel, was totally on point. The place was buzzing, but he navigated through it all with a cool and professional ease. He made sure we were taken care of, really adding to our overall experience.

Then there was Shawn, the cook. This guy's a dynamo in the kitchen, whipping up dish after dish with an impressive combo of speed and finesse. Watching him was like seeing a well-choreographed dance.

As for the food – it was amazing. The potatoes and wraps were spot-on, full of flavour and cooked just right. They nailed it, plain and simple.

Bottom line, this Sunset Grill location is a winner. Great food, excellent service, and a relaxed but lively atmosphere. We'll definitely be making a...
