I'm glad to see this is a store specific review and not a review of the whole chain. As far as the average Tim Hortons, I would usually give them 3 or 4 stars, but the Golflinks and Stone Church outlet in the Esso has been one of the worst experiences at a Tim Hortons. I arrived around 8 am on December the 12th, and it was busy if going through the drive-thru, so I went and ordered inside. I got in line, third person back. I immediately noted the rude tone of the sales associate taking orders. She seems to often work morning shifts at this location over the past month, and I had found her barely friendly in the past. Today she was in fine form. The two gentlemen at the front were ordering coffee. In the middle of they're 2nd or 3rd coffee order I hear her snap at them, ''I need sizes, please!'' The man in front of me approached next and I got the impression he had just gone through the drive-thru and didn't get a receipt. The sales associate seemed to have no interest or desire in calling up his order, and after some insistence, he received his receipt. Next was my turn. I wanted to order an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a four cheese bagel, but was unable to see if there were any available. I've been to some stores where they have been out so I often check ahead of time now. I asked if there were any four cheese bagels, and she replied yes, and began assuming I wanted a bagel toasted. I said I actually wanted an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a four cheese bagel. She sighed at me as if changing the order was such a big deal (I hadn't paid yet) and started chiding me on my way of ordering. ''Look, the way you want to order is to say you want an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a four cheese bagel.'' She said in a snarky tone. I replied that I would have but I didn't know if they had a four cheese bagel. Her response was, ''We ALWAYS have four cheese bagels.'' and I indicated that that was not my previous experience, which she seemed to dismiss.

This location is consistently messing up orders, not changing cream/sugar and therefore coffee is ALWAYS over sweet or not sweet enough, too white or too dark. A double double at this location, looks nothing short of a regular coffee. When you express concern to the staff, you’re met with ignorance, laughing, dirty looks and at my most recent visit, I was told to put the cream and sugar myself if I wasn’t happy. Order a toasted bagel and it comes out looking the same way it did when it went in! they put the toaster on a high speed, barely toasting the bread. You would think the owner of these two locations on golf links, and Tim Hortons head office, would look into why BOTH these locations have just above a 3 star rating. Read moreThe disaster service, irresponsible 4 staff members(younger), they are team of 6. But the girls will always fight saying “no I will not take walk in orders” and they will laugh together and discuss on other topics make me stand there longer and waste my time. I am a regular at this store they will not greet and serve me like they are doing me a favour.
The staff especially the girls have very negative attitude towards customers and treats rudely. Prepares wrong order, and make food how they prefer and not how and what I asked for.
I did complained about this irresponsible and I’ll mannered staff earlier, no improvements in staff behaviour and greetings. I think it must be costing a lot to hire good people who would be courteous, positive and with good listening skills to understand customers requested order specifications.
I would not give even a one star to this tims location. Terrible staff...
