Avoid this location if you can! They only care about pushing numbers!
I started coming here every morning before work. I always order a Steeped Tea and a donut. Then for my morning break at work, I would go back and get another tea. When I first started this routine with this location, it was great. About 3 or 4 months ago, it stopped being great. I now usually skip my morning tea and donut, and go to a different location on my break.
I started noticing the change when my order was never right anymore, and I felt I was being 'rushed' through. When you pull up to the speaker from the drive thru now, you never get a friendly greeting. It's always the quickest, most rushed, "whatsyourorder". They hear you, say OK, and "Drive thru". Then I always have to be like, "can I also get a donut?". They also LOVE to as you what's your order, all while they are doing something else. Example: Me: Can I please get a Large Steeped Tea Double Double. Them: Pull ahead. Me: Can I also get a donut please? Them: What was in the tea?
Like, Ok??? Why ask what I want, if you aren't ready to take the order?? I do say my order one at a time as well, in hopes if I slow it down a bit, they will hopefully get my order correct. That is not the case anymore.
This morning in particular, I decided to stop in. I don't even know what the women said because it was said so quickly, but I started to place my order. I asked for a Large Steeped Tea with 2 milk and 3 sugar. I pull ahead, pay for my order and get my tea. As I pull away, I see that it says, DM (meaning Double Milk) on my lid. Nothing about sugar. So, I taste it, and sure enough, my order is wrong. Within seconds, I pull back around saying my order was made incorrectly, and repeat my order. I get told to pull around. I pull up to the window, they take my original tea back, and make me a correct one. Or so I thought, as I was at the window, they handed me a bagged tea, not steeped tea. I had to tell them again. After the 3rd attempt, I finally received the correct order.
All they care about are their numbers, and how fast they can get people through drive-thru. They don't care if the order is correct, just as long as they got you through quickly. They even pre-toast their bagels. So, if you order a toasted bagel with butter, the bagel is cold and the butter doesn't even melt. I know this because when I place the order at the speaker, and it's the last item I order, and then pull ahead to the window and no one is ahead of me. The bagel is already at the window wrapped. The toaster doesn't work that fast.
As of today, I will no longer be visiting this location. I would much rather drive to the better locations (Queenston & Nash, they are fast, and the order is correct. Every. Time. or the location at Barton & Lake, my order is always...
Read moreAbsolutely horrible customer service by a certain individual (female and has an older voice). Messed up my order a few times. In particular, I always order an extra large coffee and the last few times when I got to the window, I was handed a large instead. I kindly advised the person in the window that I had asked for an extra large coffee not large. He was very pleasant and said it would be fixed. Then, today when they messed it up again, I hear this woman shouting right beside him- making sure that I could hear, “tell her it’s 30 cents extra”. To which I told the worker “that’s fine, I don’t mind paying since that is what I actually asked for” Never mind the inconvenience and the fact that they have been getting my order wrong the last few times. Then the woman yells from just behind him “ tell her to forget it, but we won’t be doing this again”. She was basically insinuating that I was the one who caused the problem and that if they messed up my order again that I would have to accept the large instead of what I order every day which is the extra large. She was the one who got the order wrong the last few times, and was trying to make me feel guilty even though I was willing to pay the extra 30 cents. She was absolutely so rude. I loved this location before and have found all the staff to be very friendly and efficient at this individual has completely ruined it for me going forward. I have spent thousands of dollars here over the years because the coffee is great as well as the food and until now, the stuff was amazing. I don’t want to imply that the entire staff there is an issue because they have always been great. However, this individual and this experience made me feel very bad like I was a criminal and inconveniencing them. Instead of having the old attitude of “ the customer is always right, and if it isn’t right, will make it right” this woman treated me just awful. I will not be visiting this location again and I will suggest to all my friends and coworkers that they do the same because based on the recent reviews that I have just been reading, it seems that I am not the only one who feels this way about this location. What a shame, this location was amazing but this individual has ruined it for me with her behaviour. If you’re unhappy at your job, please just stay home. All the customers would very much appreciate it. Very...
Read morei’m sorry, but all of the Tim Hortons across Ontario are slowly going Through the ground. And I think we all know why. The people they are choosing to hire do not care about the Household name and about making people happy and The specific details behind each order. Today I stopped by my grandmother’s house we both live in that area by the Tim Hortons and I saw she had one bite out of her bagel taken. I asked why she didn’t finish it. She said they forgot to toast it. As I was leaving her house and about to go on the road, I decided instead of driving all the way to Starbucks I was going to Tim Hortons because it’s been a while since I’ve had it. (Mind you my background is that I worked at Tim Hortons for my first job in high school for three years, I don’t like going anymore because it’s not the same as when I worked there) I ordered a large iced cap with extra whipped cream. The girl thought I wanted two ice caps one with cream one without. I said “extra whipped cream” she said “oh you just want one iced cup with extra cream” I said “WHIPPED cream”. She said oh sorry. Ivan said I wanted a toasted four cheese bagel with herb and garlic, cream cheese, low and behold, I get my bagel and it’s not toasted. I saw on the menu before driving up that it said toasted. When I worked at Tim Hortons, the person that was making your sandwiches or bagels also has a headset on and can hear everything. There is also a screen that says toasted in big letters. This is just negligence And someone that doesn’t care at this point. Or maybe it’s because a lot of these new workers don’t understand what we are saying half the time. Which, by the way, it is not a microphone or headphone issue because when I worked at Tim Hortons, we could literally hear every single thing that you say in the drive-through and whispered to everyone else in the car. You need to hire better workers Or ones that understand what you say the first time And only put those people on make and...
