Food is good, impressive actually for fast food. I really liked the empanadas and the sauces. I came in sept 8th 2025 and around 5pm I ordered my first time here with my partner, he presented his gym card with fit 4 less which gets him double protiene. The person working here ruined my first experience by firstly not giving my partner his double meat, we had to remind him and he said it was already on there but there was exactly 5 peices of chicken (he ended up rolling his eyes and giving double meat in the end) but it wasn't that it was how he acted when asking questions and when I asked to swap sour cream for burrito sauce instead he looked at me and told me that I can't add too much to my dish which was a Dorito bag and it's not the fact that restaurants have to charge it's when they make you feel bad and they are extremely cheap that makes the expierence awful. I'd have paid for whatever I wanted aswell if he had made that an option. There is nothing worse then going to a place and ordering and paying for food and feeling like you can't order what you want and in my opinion it's unprofessional to share with me that they have to keep costs down and that for that reason he can't give me anything else that I wanted besides the sour cream and burrito sauce swap which was all I wanted anyway. I'll be trying another location.
Turn over rate for fopd and customer expierence is far more important than cutting food costs on paying customers because the likelihood that those people will return is Slim and if you don't have a good turnover rate you're just throwing food in the...
Read moreMy friends and I visited this place about a week after it first opened. I opted to get the smallest size burrito. A baked chicken burrito with the normal fixings minus onions. I was impressed by the size as this was the "lil" burrito but still fairly large. That is about where it went downhill. First off, it was still $7.69 + tax for the smallest size burrito which is expensive for a small burrito. The chicken was the most bland thing I've ever eaten. It literally tasted like someone bought some chicken breast, cooked it as is and placed it in the burrito. It seems down right lazy to have unseasoned chicken in your burrito. I expected flavored, seasoned breast meat but sadly that's not the case. My friends had similar experiences with tacos they bought. No amount of hot sauce or any other toppings could help that meat taste any better. This was the first and likely the last time I go. I understand there are other options such as jerk chicken or curry chicken. But as someone who likes to make an attempt to eating the healthier option out of an obviously unhealthy eatery, I was pretty disappointed. Oh and the jerk and curry chicken cost $8.69 + tax. I cannot justify paying 10 dollars for a "lil" burrito when I can drive down less than 1km to Ole Gourmet and get their much tastier burritos which cost less and offer a larger size for a similar cost. Hopefully the next new Mexican place in Stoney Creek...
