Zehra Turkish Cuisine — Restaurant in Hamilton

Having seen this place a few times while passing by, we decided to order pickup from them using UberEats. We ordered the Turkish kofte, cevizli biber, kebab plate, baba ghanoush and pitas. Although the names of some of the items are similar to Middle Eastern cuisine, the flavours were very different. It felt more home cooked as well.

When we went for pickup we were told that the cevizli biber was unavailable and were instead given hummus and some yogurt based sauce. I had ordered from them specifically because I wanted to try that cevizli biber. If they had updated that they were out of it in UberEats, I would have gone with a different place that day.

My spouse liked the meat based items and I thoroughly enjoyed the Turkish kofte. The pitas were good too. The hummus, baba ghanoush and the yogurt based sauce were very different though. They seemed authentic for their region but were not something I enjoyed. If we order takeout from them again, I'll definitely get more of those...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Zehra Turkish Cuisine in Hamilton, and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience. I ordered the chicken shawarma, and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and tender, with a lovely balance of spices that made each bite flavorful without being overpowering. The wrap was warm and fresh, with a nice mix of vegetables and a creamy sauce that complemented the meat perfectly.

The service was equally impressive. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. You need to try this food! My first time trying Turkish food and if it's all this good I'm in love. Everyone in here was incredibly kind and helped make suggestions with what I should try. The food was made fresh to order and came out fairly quickly, normally those things don't go hand in hand, so a welcom addition to a great experience. The atmosphere is very sweet and friendly. Place is very clean and it looks like they take care and attention to keep it this way. Now the food.... the seasoning... the portion sizes!!! Omg I devoured everything!! Mouthwatering flavour and I am stuffed ! (How have I not had bulgur before? ) All this for an affordable price? It's hard to find this these days. I am going back to get more as soon as I can. Definitely getting more of the cig kofte as well, thank you for suggesting it. So glad I got chance...
