We drove across town last night to try this place for my birthday after hearing about 'Wingsanity' on social media. We had high hopes but were ultimately quite disappointed. The service was very slow and our server seemed disinterested at best. We ordered the cauliflower bites to start and they were good, but that was where the good things ended. The wings my partner ordered were very overcooked, my beef dip sandwich barely had any meat or other toppings in it, it was 80% bread. It did not come with the horseradish mayo that it was supposed to come with and even after I asked the server about it, she didn't end up ever bringing it out. My partner ordered her wings with a side of gravy for the fries and dill sauce to dip them in and neither of those came out at first, either, though after reminding the server about them those were eventually brought out. I ordered my own meal with a side of five boneless wings to try out their hot honey sauce and they were almost inedible. They were so hard and dry that I ended up leaving half of them on the plate and the hot honey, which was advertised as a 2 on the spice scale, was FAR hotter than that. I would caution anyone who cannot tolerate spice to avoid anything over a 1 on the heat scale. All that aside, the service was awful. We ended up seeing another server more than we saw our own server, and even then it was so infrequently that we barely got refills on our drinks or had anyone check in. It was clear that they were very, very understaffed. At the end, it took us almost an hour to flag someone down to finally get the bill, and when we did it was the hostess, not even one of the servers. We didn't say a word about the service or anything else but clearly this has been a major problem for them as without prompting, as we made our payment she started profusely apologizing for the slow service, how backed up the kitchen was, etc. She told us it was slow because they were training 2 new servers but we literally only saw 3 servers in there all night and they all looked experienced enough to me. I feel like it was a bald-faced lie but I'll withhold judgment. All in all, it was not a good experience and while we might have been willing to give it one more try, after reading some of the reviews and seeing the same feedback going back as far as opening day, I don't think we want to come back. It's very clear that nothing is being done to improve the food or the service. The restaurant industry is tough and I wish this place the best of luck, but we will...

I recently had delivery through Skip The Dishes from St. Louis Bar & Grill, and to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I paid $56 for my meal (chicken wing poutine, boneless chicken wings, and side poutine), expecting a satisfying portion of food, but what I received was shockingly small.
For that price, I anticipated a hearty serving, but instead, We were left feeling hungry and utterly ripped off.
The portion sizes were an absolute joke —more like a snack than a meal. It felt like the restaurant was cutting corners to save costs, but charging premium prices for it. The quality of the food didn’t justify the price tag either, making the whole experience even more frustrating.
St. Louis Bar & Grill needs to seriously reconsider their portion sizes and pricing. Until then, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere and advising others to do the same. If you’re looking for value for your money, this is not the place to find it.
The food was poorly prepared and lacked the quality I expected. What really pushed my experience into the realm of disappointment was their choice to use breaded chicken instead of the pulled chicken wing meat.
The breaded chicken was dry and flavorless, a far cry from the tender, juicy pulled chicken I was looking forward to. It felt like they opted for a cheaper, lazier option, which completely undermined the dish. If you're going to advertise chicken, you should deliver on that promise, not substitute it with something inferior.
The overall quality of the meal was subpar, leaving me wishing I had chosen a different restaurant. St. Louis Bar & Grill needs to step up their game, both in terms of ingredient quality and food preparation.
It actually states on their order page that IT SERVES 2 .. WOW ! It barely served one.
I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent meal.
Never again ! .. Call this anything you want, but I do order through Uber Eats and / or Skip The Dishes at least twice per week.. this was by far the worst and first for a negative review on a restaurant.

Read moreI was very hopeful that St.Louis was going to fill my hankering for southern BBQ and pub food. Unfortunately it was not. I recommended the restaurant to a colleague and we both went for the “Wingsanity” all you can eat wings. The price was enticing and the sauces seemed good.
However, our experience was as if it was 5:00pm on a Friday during the Super Bowl weekend. We should have been skeptics when we arrived and we were the only diners in during lunch on Thursday.
Things kicked off well, but quickly went downhill. Another table sat after us and the server took them our food by mistake and placed it on their table. After realizing the mistake they grabbed the food, took it to the back and then brought it out pretending like they grabbed different food from the kitchen. We confronted them on it, because they didn’t mention anything and they confessed it was a mistake but the food hadn’t been touched. Whatever, we let it go and ate our wings.
When it came time to order our next round of wings, we opted for boneless. The server came back and said we couldn’t switch wings halfway through because boneless are more expensive. This WOULD make sense but the price is the same whether you start with boneless or traditional wings. Either way, we spoke to the manager and after a bit of back and forth they said they will let it go this time and threw his employee under the bus. I said that if it’s a policy they either need to advertise it better or communicate it to their staff and customers.
After that we asked for napkins, water and utensils and didn’t really see our server much. The service was kind of abysmal. I didn’t want to believe some of the other reviews but unfortunately they are true. In the servers defender he was the only one working and the restaurant did pick up to 5 tables by the time we left. We came during our work lunch, and it took an hour all said and done.
The wings were fine but the sauces weren’t for us. We understand that flavour can be subjective so it didn’t bother us too much. The lemon pepper were hella salty though. Like dipped in the ocean salty.
I was hoping this would be my new fav spot up in St.Albert, however my experience down in Jagare has deterred me unfortunately.
“Wingsanity”? More like “Wing...
